Thank you for such a great time. I really enjoyed your video of C.E.S. I have always wanted to go, Been following the C.E.S since the mid 80's as a kid. Now that I have an E-Chair I totally could go and enjoy the show!
I will never switch my choice of tv. LG to me is the best and perfect, and very affordable prices with a variety of choices. I just ordered a new 55" lg since the lg tv I had barely broke after 12 yrs. They probably make the TVs they build today last even longer, so yeah they're good to me.
Thanks. I'm glad people enjoyed this. I'll definitely be doing more. Funny thing is, the first 5 minutes we had to go back when it was less busy and refilm because the camera didn't record. It was far busier at the entrance and in LG for 1st take. Have a good one
I still Have my LG 47" 3D. PERFECT!!...Good times when they made those. With a BIG Speaker in the back of the TV, Which I always use as my desktop PC Monitor, even now with the LG 55" C2 evo.
So there is an 85in 4K Hisense UX which IS coming to the United States. It's their flagship model replacing the U9 series with 2500 peak nits and 5000 local dimming zones. The smallest size U8K also has over 1000 dimming zones, it starts there which is fantastic. TCL has confirmed a 65in of the QM8, the whole lineup of which maxes out at 2300 dimming zones, the QM8 is basically the successor to their 8-Series range which sadly didn't make it to the US last year but it seems they're serious about getting it here this year. But there is a special model currently referred to as the QM8 "3x5" that is 3000nits and has 5000 dimming zones, no confirmed sizes, it's releasing in the latter half of the year alongside TCL's first QD-OLED. They were demoing their RGB OLED, but it's not ready yet, so they opted to release a QD-OLED for right now. And Samsung as usual brought their MicroLED to CES, this time from sizes as big as 140in, the original behemoth, down to a 50in. As well as a 63in, 76in, and 89in. More proofs of concept, that they can make MicroLED TV's that small, so not quite ready for primetime, but they're very close and their new MicroLED video shows just how they make these TV's and they seem very proud of it.
Wow Brandon, I think this may be your best video, EVER! So much fun watching you walk around CES just being yourself 😁and you got the hook up with Bruce from TCL! That's big time, bro!♥️been watching him all around the world for years! And that TCL QM8 looks AMAZING!!! Other than the G3 and 77in QD OLED, THAT looks like the TV to beat! LOVE this video, bro! So happy for you!♥️ ~Brad
Thanks so much!! It was fun and likely much easier to communicate about the products being at the individual events for each company. So tiring, but worth it. Next year, I will take a day off and just walk around for fun.
Man I want 3D to come back!!! I still have my Sony 65" 4k 3D LCD tv from around 8 years ago. It's still working great and the 3D is very good. It's a passive setup so no active glasses needed. I have held off buying something this long because I don't want to part with the 3D unless something really blows me away. 8k MicroLED might do the trick but this Sony is still very good.
Celebrities = FOMO, Brian, and KG! The last I saw/heard, FOMO and KG were getting into a van/shuttle which was primer gray with "Free Candy" on the side! 🤣
8:32 - Uhh, NO, that does not unfortunately. They clearly stated that that’s the only model to still have a 60 hz panel while the others have a 120 one.
Thanks Brandon for a great tour of the CES convention floor! I saw at the end of the video a booth with full motion wall mounts - anything like that look interesting that you saw there? Was Paula Abdul performing in Vegas too?
I didn't have time to do more stuff. I am going to spend a day or two next year just touring smaller companies. Paula was there pushing her line of glasses with speakers.
Yes I read an article about CES opening day and it reported on Paula Abdul with her sunglasses that had Bluetooth audio. Also apparently Arnold Schwarzenegger was there too with BMW.
Hi ...nice video... one question... with so much emphasis on "brightness" (related to OLED or OD-Oled) will there be concerns of burn-in? and are these tv have some sort of mechanism to thwart the burn-in... cause we don't want to buy a tv where for a little over two years on the road, the TV (OLED or OD-Oled) has permanent image retention.
Fantastic Video B!! since you saw it in person, can you tell me if the off angle viewing on the Hisense U8K is going to be better this year than the U8G? Thanks so much!!
I just bought a Samsung Q90B 75. Great TV because I wanted to look at the Sony or LG OLED but didn't want the burn in. I was very disappointed you didn't go to the Samsung but you went to Sony just to tell us there's wasn't much there as I knew and heard about it. Great video besides Samsung. You always have great information and videos.
LG and Sony are true the innovative among others World's first LED panel was made by LG early 2000's then followed by Sony. Then Bang Olufsen the premium audio driver built-in LG smartphones. And so on. LG-Hyundai Indonesia the biggest in whole Asia Pacific.
It's only the MLA is new, last year Samsung had the QD-OLED. Also Samsung still got the microLED but that's very expensive, that is what consumers would really want.
The real question, who is going to have the best "value premium" mini LED TV in 2023...Hisense U8K or TCL QM8? Both seem to have really upped their game this year.
Thank you for your excellent tour!!! Do you believe from your experience and from the "whispers" you probably have heard from "inside" the TV Tech Industry, will passive 3D will come back to the OLED Tvs???
I want to know what to log tv sizes are getting the MLA panel.. as we know last years 42 and 48 didn’t have evo panels. So how will that work this year
Hey there love your content !! Question for you about my next big TV purchase! I currently have this tv : Sony 65" Class - X90CH in my 20’x 25’ rec-room with 10’ ceilings. It’s wayyy too small, I’m torn between the new TCL 98” QM8 and the 83” LG C2. I watch 80% sports like nfl and UFC. The other 20% is movies. I have a complete sonos sound set-up two subs with the acr and surrounds…. Any ideas of what TV I should go with?? My viewing distance is 13 feet. Thanks!!
The 83" C2 is great. It goes well with Sonos.. the 98" TCL won't he around til like late summer. So not sure if you would wait but yeah a 98" is much bigger than 83 but way more expensive I'm sure.
Tough call. Probably the LG M3 but I want the S95C 77" for sure. And the TCL 98" mini-led is probably more attainable for me as well.. so tough call. Me, personally... the 77" QD
Can you find out how consumers can order the TCL High-End 85UX/8K110UX Signature TV's from TCL? Wasn't able to find them available anywhere on the web to order or pre-order. I hope you can find out where they are and post a link on your Website. Also I think the 8K110UX version will only be around $12K but will perform similar in viewing quality to the 88" LG Z2 OLED you like so much but for 50% of the price.
@@BTheInstaller I’m kind of torn here. I’m no video file by any stretch of the imagination. I do want a great picture for DIRECTV stream and Apple TV fir Netflix HBO max fir shows and movies. I wish this tv was a little better. This one compares tech tv wise to qn60. Does the qn90b and qn95b have the ability to display art? I know it might not have ability to change the mat around the picture, but no biggie. I like both sets but the 95 has the one connect so I can mount it close to the wall with the mount for the frame. What do you think is the best? Like I said above we watch tv, sports, stream movies and shows on Netflix HBO max DIRECTV stream prime Hulu Disney plus. I have an opportunity Blu-ray player but we hardly ever use it. We have an Xbox series x and ps5 to hook up as well. I could always get an hdmi switch for the consoles and plug that into the game port hdmi on the frame. Thanks for your time, I know you are busy and I love watching your videos. I have learned a lot.
I have been looking at upgrading my 55" 2010 Samsung but it looks like TV technology is going through a lot of improvements at the moment so maybe I should hold off for a another year or 2

Looking for recommendations. 75 to 85 inch I like sports. Not a gamer. I currently have a Samsung 65 inch I bought in 2016. It’s an LED curved screen. Picture is OK. I would like a big step up but I would like to keep the price around 2000
Anyone doing true 4k 144hz? I thought the new chip technology was supposed to allow this on more models this year. Last year's models claimed 144hz, then took image down to 1440 or 1080. Thanks
I had a bad experience with LG India. 2018 model TV qled screen got faulty in 4 years and LG cannot repair it as the part is discontinued. This is a major problem with these expensive TVs. You buy with your hard earned money only to know 4 years down the line parts are not available.
Hisense can't sell their 110" TV because of the patents and intellectual property violations. They are copycats of most of the major TV brands, that's why they can't sell their TVs here in the States. They may sell in their own Chinese market.
I am most curious and dreadful about Sony TVs. Will they have the Pentonic SoC? If not then for what 4 years + they will STILL have the old ass MediaTek SoC and 2 HDMI 2.1 and the constant input switching and weaker performance. They HAVE to upgrade that.
