What’s the movie about?
During the 1980’s in Los Angeles, a rap group called NWA (Niggas With Attitude) emerges from the streets of Compton. Its members, Dr Dre, Eazy-E and Ice Cube, will revolutionize hip hop culture with their music and tales of their life in the hood.

@@eddycarpenter8989 exactly! Nothing about this movie made me feel like it was the 80's. No on talked like it was the 80's, no one really dressed like it was the 80's besides a few characters. The whole dynamic between the group members didn't feel that real, the acting just wasn't that good. IDK, like it was an ok film but it was super overrated.

Yeah, a lot of times they used that ram and found nothing, kids were in the house, families were displaced. This is a sad point in history
There was a house in Edmonton ALberta that was a notorious trap house. 24 Hours a day you could score and they always had product. The cops tried to bust it multiple times but could never find any drugs. Then one time during the search the found a hidden trap that led to a tunnel that led to the house beside it. They would run the drugs to the safe house if they got busted with a search warrant. Took the cops about five times before thye found the secret entrance. Since no drugs were ever sold in the neighbors house they never got a search warrant for that house.

What makes this scene interesting is when E was forced to sign Dre and DOC over to Suge and Death Row Suge told E he had Jerry held captive and he showed him pics of his moms house and said I know where your mom stays. Don’t know why they had E do this in the movie

But yeah, every state is different. Here in Florida I can shoot somebody if they walk towards me in a threatening manner but in a different state it would be murder unless they touched me.

Except instead of a battering ram on an armored vehicle we would use c2/c4.
The first thing that would have happened before the vehicle came in is the perimeter would be secured to catch EZ E squirting out the back.

The reason the barrel is cut is so it will spread and most sawed offs are 12 bangers and they may only be 5ft away but they're basically hugging Eric, so yeah, it's gonna hit all 3 of them.
It could have been cut so that it is more easily hidden and loaded with slugs making the other guys safe

I been looking through the comments but I haven't seen anyone talking about the fact that the owner of the house in the tank top was letting eazy-e escape at 3:01, he lets eazy e run past him. He does this because he knows it wouldn't do any good to let eazy e get caught and rat about him and his dealings. Though that was a pretty cool detail.

Can you give us an example of what was disrespectful. I'm not american and I honestly didn't know about NWA before the movie (I know it's sad) but I felt like Easy E was portrayed in a good way. What was the reality of things ?
Eazy E wasn't a joke. I grew up listening to him from NZ. Eazy E opened the doors for many people as well. One of them happened to be Bone Thugs N Harmony. In the scene where he was in a coma? They gave him a tape of Bone Thugs I felt was absolutely BS. Eazy E signed them in 1993 to ruthless records. They made a song together called For Tha Love Of Money a year before he died in 1995. Rest in peace to him. Suge Knight never touched him at all? They left out Real Motherphucckin G's in my mind is a classic diss song of all time. There was so much stuff they never put into the movie. I felt it wasn't 100% accurate enough. MC Ren was no joke as well, Dr Dre wasn't hard as well there were so many stories that never got put in the film about him doing wrong, They made Eazy E look broke during the movie his real fans would tell you he wasn't that at all, He died a millionaire. In the eyes of Dr Dre & Ice Cube? They told their side of the story I felt was untrue, But it is what it is. My rating for NWA Straight Outta Compton Biopic I would give it a 5/10, Don't get mad or upset, It's my opinion on how I felt about the movie.
