My tip is to consider a concrete paver block under the A1 to reduce the noise from the printer. I watched another video about this and the concept of decoupling the vibrations from the printer to the table that it sits on was discussed. I tried it and it worked very well. In my case I had a 2 foot by 3 foot piece of plywood attached to the top of a 3 foot high bookcase and had previously attached the plywood to the wall with a metal L bracket. The first day I had it I started a print before bed (in another room) and it woke me up 4 times during the night due to the loud rumbling noises! I was very discouraged. ( I had replaced another bed-slinger printer in this spot with the A1) I had never experienced noise like that before! By putting 4 pieces of dense foam scraps under a 2 inch tall by 20 inch square concrete block AND disconnecting the bracket between table and wall, the A1 transmits NO discernible noise or vibration! Even sitting next to it, it is way quieter than my previous printer! (and the block is not flammable! BONUS!)
The A1 can print at the 256x256x256 build volume. It is only the P and X series that have a series of work-arounds to get every part of the plate and to absolute full height.
I printed the same spool adapter for anycubic filament, my solution to the spool adapter being slightly too small was to put a few layers of duct tape around the part that slides into the spool and it worked perfectly
UPDATE: Bambu updated the cable since this posting, so all A1s have their crazy overengineered but awesome power cable update. Think they did it as of a few months ago.
@@5265060 Is there any reason not to buy one, after the recall, and problem is solved? Seems like a pretty simple wiring problem, and not a basic design flaw. Also, I am impressed by their response to the problem, and solutions offered for those affected. Also, thinking the A1 Mini, might be a better fit for my needs, and that is not affected by the recall.

That is a great tip!
Bambu has told us to switch it off so don’t know how helpful the tips can be lol
They'll be useful in the future 😆

You are correct! Thanks for setting me straight on that fact :)

That's a great solution! Thank you for sharing with us all!!
what about the RECALL???? The A1 should be unplugged and you should contact Bambu Labs for the RECALL.
Already done! Thanks!

Thanks for the tips. Thinking about getting back into 3D Printing with one of these.
My pleasure!
Not with the current recall, please dont

I guess a good tip is not to print with it 😁 but I print with it right now. Wish me luck I don't burn down
Good luck!
Well this timing isn't so opportune...
Quite true! 😩
hello from Italy :) Really enjoyed this video thanks! (appreciated your invite to share and exchange knowledge)
@CDProjects00 Hello and thanks for taking a few moments to comment. Welcome!
I know that I’m a little late but I need help with the cable that is attached to the nozzle because it moves the heat bed messing up my prints
Do you have it clipped to the ptfe tube from the AMS? That cable shouldn't be anywhere close to the heatbed if installed properly.
Great video
Thank you!!
Tip 1: unplug the printer and get it repaired. 😂
Already in the works!
Time stamps would be good
@@TheBinklemNetwork Let me see if I can update the description. Thanks!
Thank you!@@directedt3ch
My tip is to send it back
I'm getting the heatbed replaced and $120 credit from Bambu.
@@directedt3ch if self repair is an option in your area, id consider that a win.
@@5265060 Yep! Already got a response for it from Bambu.
The LED-strip, monitor and sign behind you are very distracting
Thanks for the input! I appreciate it.
P r o m o s m 👀
I'm not sure what you mean.
