All football cares about, are getting the best of the best in order to win. It's all about money, competitiveness, and greed.. All they care about is the bottom dollar. Period. Who can jump higher, who can ran faster, who can think quicker on the dime...and that's all there is to it.
I would agree for most cases but I think in basketball it’s differently viewed. If white players are typically known as “smarter” or “better leaders” then why is Lebron James known as one of the smartest and the best leader in the league, and why is Rajon Rondo known as having the best basketball IQ?, and there are players like Steven Adams who are known for there physical strength and “natural talent”
Ive never heard of white people being smarter or better leaders....like at all. That stereotype isn't one cuz I don't acknowledge it since I've never heard of it before.
The comparison between Tom Brady and Cam Newton was a terrible choice. Tom Brady is undoubtedly more "football smart" than Cam Newton and that's based on their play in those Super Bowls that he mentioned. Quarterbacks receive more endorsements and a higher salary because they are the most important position on the field FOR THE GAME. Does this guy know who Russel Wilson is???
Adrien Yb I’m not disagreeing with this guy’s point. In sports journalism this stereotyping does happen, and it shouldn’t. I was just pointing out that he used bad examples in the NFL. There’s guys like Aaron Rodgers and Christian McCaffery who get praise for their athletic ability and guys like Pat Mahomes, Russell Wilson, and Michael Thomas who get praised for their football IQ. Using the Brady/Newton comparison takes things out of context because Brady is considered the greatest player player of all time. I agree a lot of it was the system and I’m not a Pats fan but that’s just how it is, people think Brady’s the GOAT. Additionally, Brady never has gotten praise for his athletic ability, because ever since his NFL combine he hasn’t been a mobile QB, where Cam Newton at the combine was an incredible talent and broke rushing records his MVP season. They are two different styles of players and he should have came up with a better comparison like Rodgers/Newton, both won an MVP, both played in a super bowl and both known for being mobile quarterbacks.
@@aliforeman1819 funny enough, I just haggled for a new car and brought them down to my place. I have been administering IQ tests for the last 28 years....and I could tell
Tom brady and cam newton was a horrible comparison, tom brady was never athletic, and never will be, he was lucky to be drafted in the 6th round with a horrible combine, if bledsoe never got hurt we may never know who tom brady is, if tom didn’t have the IQ he has, he also wouldn’t be the tom brady we know today, and cam newton had 1 good year in the NFL, at least make a valid argument.
Maybe wypepo need to be smarter and work harder to compete against blacks, did you look into that before you started virtue signaling at your ted talk?
Quarterback has to be athletic is not just about smarts.

Noticed how only the Brothers stood up at the end of the video
I mean that online proves everything he said right
Josh Allen doesn't look so mediocre now lol

I think that the examples that you are giving are excpetions and that it normally happens like he said in the TED talk.
Imagine what they would say in a game of chess?
Look at other sports as well especially football/soccer

Babe Ruth and Hank Aaron were compared. So was Tonya Harding and Midori Ito.

@Adrien Yb they let steph curry slide when he choked because they like his skin color bro they would’ve killed kyrie or lebron or kd
How is this not popular
What's understood is seldomly explained
I get what he’s saying, but Tom Brady is not physically superior to Cam Newton
Jokic - high IQ. Lebron - high basketball IQ
Someone needs to tell this guy there's a 'g' in strength.
does anyone know how to cite this in ASA?
This guy is on track money!
Please send this to SAS on first take dude has gotten so annoying with race these days
The real effect of this I in the coaching ranks
Excellent points…
The NFL is rigged folks... You really believe Tom Brady is that intelligent 😂😂😂

Tom Brady is 6-5 240! He has natural athletic gifts and he can throw a football 80 yards! That strength is athleticism!

This is a known thing sports I don't understand why you disagree.
