Oppo, vivo, one plus, realme all brands falls under BBK company, so they'll decided to save money by streamlining their software experience for all brands, many times they share hardware too, but they're good company, they're not greedy, they share good amount to their employees and also gives most value for money products to consumers.
That's the thing, OnePlus was in desperate need of making changes, bc they were highly praised in a small community of geeks, but they were not making a profit. The art of making a flagship killer is the art of making tradeoffs, one of which was profits.

Everyone knows he is gonna praise his own company, duh. But the fact that he mentions their own shortcomings and sometimes shows the competitions' advantages is why ppl say he is honest.

It's his unbiased honesty that's great and helpful. I love my Nothing Phone 1 but, I hate the fact that it's so slippy there's no grip on it at all. That's my only gripe.

Trust me there’s barely a difference between both, Oneplus had saturated colors while on otherhand Nothing had no saturated, they both look similar tbh in that way.
