I have a Vevor machine and I love it. It cuts great. You can cuts so much at one time I do have an electric machine but it is smaller Both are great for your work. Thumbs up!!!
Hi Lucy, I bought this machine a few months ago as a new crafter because I didn't want to spend to much and have found it great, easy to pack up also. I have previously bought a heat press from this company which has worked well too. I'm in Qld, Australia. Just found your channel and subscribed. Love your torn edged card, really pretty. Thank you and have a great day x
I just got this machine for Christmas. So far I really like it though I've only made one card with some dies that I also got for Christmas. I really like that it's 9 inches. You got a polka dot embossing folder I got a Christmas tree with snowflakes, I'm not sure if that's because my sister ordered it for Christmas. I'm Canadian and my sister who was the one that gave it to me said that she got it in only a few days. She's had hers for several months and has made quite a few things still works perfect.
It's always great to see a new products in use. I had to switch to an electric machine due to 18years of assembly work wearing on my hands. The crank was causing my hands to ache, but now I can let friends know if they're looking for a die cutting machine that's is sold at a reasonable price.
Hi Lucy, thanks so much for your review. I love that you don’t just talk about the machine but show what it can do by making some cards. I also love the hints and tips you provide. I’m from Melbourne and love watching your channel. I bought this machine about 6 months ago but have only used it a few times. I got different dies and embossing folder to you. It was a nice surprise when I opened the box and could start using it straight away. I have a Cricut machine and have been looking for quite some time for an affordable machine mainly for embossing and stitched dies as the Cricut can’t do these. The machine is a little bigger than I wanted but the price was too good to pass up. I also recommend this machine. Happy crafting everyone.
Beautiful cards! I was wanting to get a die cut machine, but they are all so expensive and I don't have a lot of money. This vevour is definitely my best option. I cannot wait to finally be able to die cut!
Hi and thank you! I love my Vevor machines so I hope you will love yours too, die cutting is such a fun way to add interest to cards. Have a great day/night XOX
Lucy, thank you for this video. I love watching them as you have great ideas and even if I don't make the same card, I just change a few things around and give my little twist of things. That's what crafting is all about...right? Sending love from the U.S.
This looks like a nice idea. It seems light and the cuts were very nice. That bottom plate should last a good long time, just don't cut into it because eventually it will mess up your cuts, especially foiled cuts. They are more costly to replace. Do the clear plates warp? I was SO disappointed with 2 very popular electric machines. I had to replace the plates so often, and one blew apart right away because the main plates warped so badly. The other electric could not handle 3D embossing folders. I gave up. It was too upsetting and costly. Then Gina K came out with an adjustable one. It is a wonderful machine even with my arthritis. It has suction feet that actually work! Bira makes it, i think. Bira has 6" & 9". Only 2 plates. It is more expensive than yours, but not bad. The handle should not break. If it is hard to get something through, just adjust it. The same with yours, make the sandwich smaller. You can replace nearly everything on the Bira if you ever needed to. So, there is another option. The handle comes off for easier storage. It is so much cheaper than an electric and also works with the magic mat, so no more buying new plates every few months. I dearly love Scrapbook.com's new magnetic magic mat. My cuts are even nicer than before! I was buying plates every month with the electrics because i make cards for lots of people almost daily. If this one gets to be a hassle, you might try a GinaK or Bira. I have the 6" Gina and 9" Bira because some dies are for larger machines. I can even use them on my lap board. My son hands it to me. Thank you for your video! Happy Crafting!
Sorry to hear you had troubles with your electric machine. I haven’t had much warping on my plates since using the Vevor machines which is good. I did have to replace a plate recently though as I do die cut a lot. Have a great day xox
Thank you Lucy! I’m always on the lookout for a good deal so I purchased this. I make A LOT of cards every month, 400-600 give or take on either end, and I do a lot of die cutting. About 6 years ago Spellbinders had a Black Friday sale on Fun Stampers Journey die cut machines, literally $20 each so I bought 3, one for my mom and 2 for me. I didn’t need them them because I was using a Bigshot, but I do wear them out occasionally. Anyway, the next day they shot up to $50, which was still a deal, but they were normally $120+. I am using one, still have one in the box and my mom still has hers. I also use a Gemini Jr that I’ve had for about 5 years. I did not, however, own a 9”, but now I do, thanks to you! Beautiful cards too!
I have a Vevor water distiller. I guess they make a lot of products. I've had my distiller for 2 yrs, and it performs wonderfully. I have a big shot plus, but its a bit bulky to take on the go. May give this one a go.
Hi Lucy..thanks for showing this machine..I searched for ages too & ended up finding a Kaiser Craft one that was on sale around this price ..really like the larger embossing folder...good to have this info here in Oz as the other machines are very expansive & posting etc is a real killer to a budget..❤
My daughters recently brought me a stamp up machine for Mothers day and it's very similar to the one you showed in the video, same price in UK, it works the same as I tried it to make sure all was OK with it, can't wait for mothers day to come! 😊
Hi Lucy. What a great machine. Although I'm not yet in the market, i do like to stay current with what's out there. Thanks so much for the thorough demo ... and Happy New Year. ❤😊
Thank you Lucy. I bought a new machine just before Christmas. This is very comparable with my new one, but the bonus is having folding sides. I don’t have the space of a craft room and need to work in my dining room . Folding up and clearing away for meal times can be exasperating. This looks a great machine. I love using the embossing. Sometimes the folders can be a bit thick. So a bit hard to flow through. Thank you once again . I look forward to all your videos. You have so many techniques I am loving. Happy New Year 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you so much for your message Diane, I've worked from my dining room before so I feel you pain, it can be a hassle at meal times hey? I'm so happy to hear you look forward to my videos and you'll be happy to know I have many coming up (with giveaways) to celebrate my 10k subscribers milestone. Happy New Year to you too! XOX
I have a Cuttle Bug 🐛 that I love 💚 and it still works. I love because i can cut the big fat dies with it. I also have a Grand Caliber i think it's from Spellbinders. But if something would happen to my Cuttle Bug 😢 i think 🤔 I would be able to use the big dies with the one you showed. Beautiful cards 🤩😍🤗
The Bira die cutting machine is a good affordable option. I bought this machine and it’s awesome. It comes in a 9” and a 6” version. The larger version will take steel rule dies. I don’t know if the 6” version will, I open the 9” version. Gina K recently released a machine that’s identical to the Bira machine, made by the same company most likely. Gina K’s machine is out of stock and it’s attracting a lot of attention.
Thank you. Hmm I'm not sure about fabrics, it would be a case of testing them with different dies and pressure. I would think some easy shapes would work but not detailed patterns so if you were thinking hexagons, then probably but I'm just guessing as I don't work with fabric. Yes, there are lots of hexagon dies available, here's a link to a few options - shrsl.com/4nj35 (just hover over the link and left click, it will take you there). I hope this was helpful XOX
Hi, you'll find most other brand plates work with these machines, it's important to check the depth of plates and how many plates for each machine. I did a Temu video where I showed some replacement plates and I tested them through each cutting machine I have, that may help as I give sizes etc in the video. XOX
This looks awesome!! Price is great too! I have a big shit already and it certainly gets used a bunch. I will check this one out though. Only thing I see that may be an issue is the cutting plates cannot be replaced. So would one have to buy a new machine just to get new plates?
These are great value machines, I use mine all the time! Although this company doesn't sell replacement cutting plates, the plates are the same sizes as other brands. I try using some replacement plates on all my die cutting machines on this video so you can see details and more information - ua-cam.com/video/LhP3qr5ChoA/v-deo.html I hope this helps XOX Lucy PS I had a giggle at your 3rd sentence :)
Placing the dies cutting side up is recommended for intricate die cuts, as there is more pressure applied. Regular and outline dies cut just fine if placed cutting side down. But we all have our own styles so no hard and fast rules on which way to die cut LOL
Ginak has a new manual die cutting machine for $159+ 75 to ship internationally and $15 shipping in America! It’s sold out so fast! I can’t afford that so thanks for this info
Google Bira die cutting machine! It’s EXACTLY like the Gina K machine, made by the same company and there is no difference that I have been able to find. I bought my Bira from Amazon but I’ve seen it cheaper on other sites, that’s why I’m suggested googling it.
Hi Lucy, I love your videos and always look forward to the latest releases. You have inspired me to get back to card making and I have become addicted to journalsay products since watching your videos which is fun but dangerous for the wallet! I just wanted to ask if you still recommend the Vevor die cut machine now you have had it for a while, as I need to replace the cheap brand one, I bought from spotlight. I am also in Melbourne🤗
Hi Janet! I can't tell you how happy I am to hear I've inspired you to get back to card making, that's so great!! Ooh yes, I do love my Journalsay goodies too hehe. I love my Vevor die cutting machines, yes absolutely. I have both the 6 inch and 9 inch and I use my 6 inch the most. I think the main reason for this is that I can move it around easier for my videos, if I only had one machine I'd want the 9 inch as it doesn't have size restrictions (for slimline dies etc). They're such a good price point too, I didn't know they existed until they reached out to me; I kept breaking my expensive machines and had been looking for a new machine but didn't want to pay $300+ for one. Here's the link to the 6 inch in Oz: s.vevor.com/bfQSOO and the 9 inch - s.vevor.com/bfQMMy and my 5% off code should still work which is DISCOUNT23. I hope this helps XOX
@ Hi Lucy, thanks so much for your reply. I think I’ll get the 9’ then as I only have room for one in my craft space. I’ll try with the code so thank you for that. I’m just watching the new Xmas washi tape video and now I want to shop more! Have to hide the parcels from hubby hehe 🤩🙏Janet
@@janetbeer8585 Oh that's fantastic, thank you for letting me know the code still works. I think they were really fast delivery too so you should receive it soon. I hope you love it as much as I do! 🤗
Hi, there. I'm kind of new to your channel. And I just had a couple questions about this die cutting machine. Yes, I am definitely in search of a new die cut machine. I've tried the electric ones and I've had my cuddlebug, which is my favorite for years, but it's on its last leg. My question to you, is how hard are the plates To replace, if you were to bteak them. Or they wear out. And are they expensive? male or break them 1 minute together with this copy of my partisan military veterans to applying.
Hi Darlene, the plates are pretty much the same as most die cutting machines so it's easy to find replacements. I recently did a video where I bought replacement plates from Temu to try in all my machines and they worked well, here's the video ua-cam.com/video/LhP3qr5ChoA/v-deo.html - this will give you helpful information on sizing etc and also the link to purchase them if you wanted to. They were a good price and I chose the super long ones, they come in different sizes. I hope this information helps and please know I really love using my Vevor machines even though I have an electronic machine too, I tend to use my 6 inch machine most now. XOX
I think Gina K Design has a new machine out there less than $100. I’ll keep my Gemini Jr. it wasn’t much more than that and has been a great die cutting machine. Thank you for sharing to let others know.
Should you be using that craft knife for twisting the stems and leaving it on your mat with the blade up. I think its a bit dangerous, as its very sharp. I always put the blade into its cover each time i use it. Ive never seen an embossing sheet that large. Realy good.
Hi Elaine! Welcome to card making, I hope you love it as much as I do! Hmm... I've never had a 6 inch machine as I do like to die cut a few items at once. If you're planning on doing a lot of die cutting and you have the table space I would think the 9 inch is best. With the smaller one sometimes you may find it doesn't fit some of the longer or larger dies. If you plan on creating slimline cards, make sure you get plates longer than 23cm/9 inches if possible. I may be doing a comparison video soon, Vevor may be sending me a 6 inch one so then I'd be able to give more advice but I'm not sure when that will be. I hope this helps somewhat, sorry I can't be more assistance but if you have any further questions, I'm always happy to help XOX
Hi! I'm sorry to hear the code didn't work, I just tried it and it worked for me (I tried the Aust site), did you use capital letters exactly as it was written? I'm not sure why else it wouldn't have worked, I'm so sorry. I'm happy to hear you bought one though and I hope you love using it XOX
Hi, I can die cut using any dies with these machines, the only ones I'm not sure about is the really thick velvety style dies as I haven't got any of them but any flat dies should all work. XOX
Hi, I've contacted the company regarding buying from your country. I'll add the info to the video's description box once I know so please check back in a day or two. XOX Lucy

Hi, I'm waiting for an answer back regarding buying in your country. I will add the information in the video's description box so please check back there in a day or so. XOX
I just got a big shot plus for Christmas… I got it as a gift but it was $160 on Amazon. That is the best price I’ve seen it. It came with dies, a large embossing folder and 2 packs of A4 paper. It doesn’t fold up though. If I had seen this machine I probably would have gotten this because of the price and folding sides however, I don’t think it’s worth returning mine and then purchasing this. What do you think Lucy?
What a nice Christmas gift! Yes, I agree, I wouldn't try returning it but I also had a Big Shot and found it very bulky because it didn't fold up. My first ones were Spellbinders machines that did fold up and I loved them but I broke a couple and they got too expensive to keep buying. I'm finding this one is just as good and yet so much cheaper so maybe keep it in mind if ever you need a new one. I never found this one in my searches for a new one. XOX
I bought this machine 6 months ago and the plates are totally warped even after turning them every time I used it so not really impressed that I now have to buy new plates.
Unfortunately I got a DUD Started to fall apart within a month, please don't say use the warranty 😂 have sent 5 emails no response, sent online questions NO Response. Waste of money, found a online Facebook page, that has thousands of people saying the same thing, warranty is useless they don't answer emails, can't get replacement parts it's a NO from me.. it's now in the bin.
Oh no, this isn’t ok, I love mine and use it almost daily! If you bought it through my link I’d be happy to follow it up for you (mind you, I may be a little later than usual with follow ups as I’m about to head to Europe for a month this evening 😁). I only promote companies with good customer service, so hopefully this can be sorted. Please email me at lovebypaper@gmail.com if you’d like me to follow up. 😁♥️♥️
Great video! I bought the exact same one in August. I have yet to get it to work correctly. I’ve tried just about everything- as far as thickness, etc. I even contacted the seller. I don’t know. I may have just gotten a rare “lemon”. By the time I was able to use It, it was too late to return it. So I just bought a Sizzix big shot plus ❤ Thank you for sharing!
That’s such a shame it’s too late to return it. Yes, maybe it’s a faulty one as the comments from others that already bought this one all said it was great and mine works perfectly. Good to hear you’re happy with your new Sizzix one 🥰♥️♥️
The Cuttlebug was a workhorse for decades and this feels like a comparable solution for those who loved and miss it. Good luck VEVO and Lucy.
Oh yes I loved my Cuttlebug .
Wow, that is a super huge embossing folder. That would be so nice to have folders that large. Thanks Lucy.
I have a Vevor machine and I love it. It cuts great. You can cuts so much at one time I do have an electric machine but it is smaller Both are great for your work. Thumbs up!!!
That's great to hear, I love mine too! XOX

Glad I could help

@ Hi Lucy, thanks so much for your reply. I think I’ll get the 9’ then as I only have room for one in my craft space. I’ll try with the code so thank you for that. I’m just watching the new Xmas washi tape video and now I want to shop more! Have to hide the parcels from hubby hehe 🤩🙏Janet
@ discount code still worked so it’s on its way thank you 🙏
@@janetbeer8585 Oh that's fantastic, thank you for letting me know the code still works. I think they were really fast delivery too so you should receive it soon. I hope you love it as much as I do! 🤗
A4 embossing folders are very common, and available on ebay and amazon
Good to know, thank you, I hadn’t seen one before this 😊♥️
XOX
Hi, thanks for the video, just to say still quite expensive, here in Ireland 100euros 😊
I think Gina K Design has a new machine out there less than $100. I’ll keep my Gemini Jr. it wasn’t much more than that and has been a great die cutting machine. Thank you for sharing to let others know.
Thanks for your thoughts, happy crafting XOX
Gina ks is about $150.
Gina’s machine is much more than $100. More like $160. I purchased a Bira die cutting machine from Amazon for $95.00. It’s great!
Should you be using that craft knife for twisting the stems and leaving it on your mat with the blade up. I think its a bit dangerous, as its very sharp. I always put the blade into its cover each time i use it. Ive never seen an embossing sheet that large. Realy good.
Hehe thank you for your concern. I lost the lid a long time ago but I've never cut myself when it's been left on my mat. XOX
Would have liked it if you put New Zealand’s price and info too
Sorry, they didn't give me a New Zealand site, but as I mentioned in the video, if you'd like to buy one then I can find out for you? XOX
Really helpful videos, thank you. I’m a beginner in card making and not sure if I should start with a 6 or 9 inch machine. Any advice Lucy?
Thanks Lucy! I'm kind of thinking the 9inch model and that will future proof things so I can do small & larger batches.
@@elainemonument8488 you’re welcome ☺️. Great choice, I don’t think you’ll regret buying a large one Xox
How to get the identical fine tip glue bottle you used in this video please?
Hi, yes, you can find these glue bottles here bit.ly/3TNLJcc XOX Lucy
Hey Lucy does this cut faux leather
Hi, I haven’t tried it so I’m not sure but they might have more information on the website. Xox
Hi Lucy, thanks for your video. This is what I was looking for. I just bought this die-cutter but your 5% code did not work.
Dear Lucy, I'd like to know if I can use this machine with other die cut templates, like Sizzix templates or others. Thanks in advance!
Hi, I can die cut using any dies with these machines, the only ones I'm not sure about is the really thick velvety style dies as I haven't got any of them but any flat dies should all work. XOX
@@lucypatrick Thank you for your prompt and kind reply.
What about New Zealand please.
Hi, I've contacted the company regarding buying from your country. I'll add the info to the video's description box once I know so please check back in a day or two. XOX Lucy
Hi, I'm in South Africa. Can I get it here too?

I am trying to find out how you can get it and the price 😮😮😮 I cli ked on more and nothing happens. I found it and thank you
You found it ok? Enjoy, I love using my Vevor machines XOX
Yes I’ve got a few embossing folders that size. They were from Tattered lace.
Thanks for letting me know, I hadn't seen them this size before but I think it's a great idea! Happy New Year XOX
How about South Africa?
XOX
@@lucypatrick thanks Lucy. I try to comment on as many videos as I can. Does it help your channel or just the likes help?
@@brendawalsh8254 that’s so sweet, I’m not sure if it helps but they’re lovely to read 🥰🥰🥰
£75 pounds is an amazing price for a die cutter that will take A4 embossing folders
I bought this machine 6 months ago and the plates are totally warped even after turning them every time I used it so not really impressed that I now have to buy new plates.
Mine aren’t warping as much as other plates but I generally need to replace mine after 6 months as I use them often. Xox
Looks like the old Cuttlebug
So I just bought a Sizzix big shot plus ❤
Thank you for sharing!
That’s such a shame it’s too late to return it. Yes, maybe it’s a faulty one as the comments from others that already bought this one all said it was great and mine works perfectly. Good to hear you’re happy with your new Sizzix one 🥰♥️♥️
