Dear Lucy, thank you so much for your sweet message. You can't know how much it helped... our week had been particularly difficult, we received more than one piece of bad news. So your beautiful, gorgeous creations, and lovely, calm manner always make me smile, and I need smiles right now 😊 💗💜💗😍 xxB
Hi Lucy. You always create such beautiful cards. It is a stunning collection from Uniquely Creative. You inspire me to use it and not just keep looking at it. 😂🥰
Thanks Di! You can always email me at Lovebypaper@gmail.com and give me more details, see if we can tee something up. I'm generally free on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Have a fab day XOX
The tip for the butterflies are worth gold, thank you 😘😍❤ I also work with a similar kind of machine, but I rather like to work where I can put the diecut on the paper, not under it. I don’t know why, but it stresses me out when it’s under the paper and I can’t see if it doesn’t move. I guess it’s something in my brain 🤪
Hehe, I totally agree with you, I also like to put paper first then the die on top so I can see it hasn't moved off the paper before pushing through the machine. I only do it the other way sometimes on camera so viewers can see it's cut through all the way. 😆❤
So much cheaper aren't they? And the quality of them is so good so far. I ended up buying my electric die cutting machine after not being able to find a fair priced manual machine a couple of years ago, that's why I agreed to review these as I definitely would have bought one if I'd found them when I was looking! XOX
I wish I'd found you a few years ago lol I've bought so many machines and hated some of them. Thank you for this video, those machines are brilliant. Gorgeous cards Lucy, as always. Aoife x
As always, Lucy, the cards are all beautiful. I like the idea of die cutting the two rectangles and then cutting each in the middle and piecing the two different colors back on a card base. Also, using the marker to make the lines that look like it has been sewed is inspiring! Thanks and take care.
I too have a larger and smaller die cut machine. It’s super helpful to have each option. I use the smaller one to cut all my sentiments etc because it just doesn’t take up so much room on my desk. As always in awe of your skills. Loved the stitching you created. TFS
Thank you! And yes, I think having more than one die cutting machine is good for me too, I like the idea of a small one as I’m like you, I die cut a lot of sentiments xox
Great video Lucy, very informative for newbies ☺️ All your cards are pretty, however the last one was particularly lovely. I have an electric A4 machine and also a tiny die cutting machine (2"). I love both but for different crafting needs!
Hi Lucy. I always enjoy seeing new products reviewed. This seems like a great die cutting machine. I remember seeing your review of the larger machine a few months ago. Thanks for the review ... and of course showing us more of your beautiful cards. ❤ 🇨🇦 😊
Love all the cards Lucy, they're beautiful and you make it look so simple! I already have the 9" machine and love it - now do I need the 6" 😂 probably not, but I might,! May wait and see what your thoughts are and how much you use it. Thanks Lucy and have a lovely day.
Aww thanks Mandy, I'm so glad you love all the cards. Yes, I'll be sure to let you know if I use all 3 of my machines hehe, I do love having options! 😀❤❤
Lucy I love all the cards as usual. I’m glad the new machines are great for you. I recently bought a tiny machine from Craft Stash in the UK, made to surprise by Sam Calcott and I’m finding it much faster to die cut smaller dies. I bet you’ll find that you save some time with your new small one. If Craft Stash reaches out to send you anything from Sam, definitely say yes. I love her products too.
Oh, that's good to hear, yes I think I'll enjoy using the small machine too! OK, will definitely say yes if Craft Stash reach out to me, I think they've liked one of my videos recently ☺❤🌸
Hi Lucy, lovely cards as always. Perfect for newbies who might be wanting a machine as they increase in complexity which is what happens when you start card making.
Hi Lucy, I liked the last card best, but they are all beautiful. Do the cutting plates warp with use? Do both machines use the same thickness in the plates? What machine have you used before these two and how does it compare?
Hi and thank you. The cutting plates are pretty much exactly the same as other brands so it will depend a little on how you use them whether warping happens. I've been turning mine frequently and I haven't got much warping so far. I've had Spellbinders (broke all of them), a Sizzix Big Shot manual (also broke it) and I have an electric Sizzix machine which I love (if you're interested in buying one of them, I'd love to give you my affiliate link to the best price). In comparison to the other manual machines I've had in the past, I prefer the Vevor machines to the Sizzix Big Shot (too big and bulky) and it's on par with my Spellbinders machines. I wanted to purchase another Spellbinders after I broke another one but they were far too expensive so I bought the Sizzix Big Shot. If I had known about the Vevor ones I definitely would have bought them as they're much cheaper and I find it's easier to use. I am finding I'm using the small one too and this is the first time I've had a 6 inch so I wasn't sure if I'd use it. I hope all this info helps. XOX
Hi and yes, these machines have been great. I mostly use the 6 inch but I use the 9 inch when I have a lot of die cutting and for my slimline dies as they don’t quite fit in the smaller one. I hope this helps. I have a 5% discount code where the links to these machines are in my videos. Have fun creating Xox
Can't find replacement plates on the Web sites, can you let everyone know, if this is available please, as I have seen others also ask before. And if so cost please.
Oh yes, I didn’t think of that! I’ll look into it as I’m not sure but replacement plates are definitely something that’s needed! Thanks for bringing it to my attention xox
@@lucypatrick Do you have any update on replacement plates available for purchase? If you can share a link please, if you have one. Thank you! Beautiful cards!
@@jaxibee347 Hi, Yes, I have found replacement plates! I did a video recently where I tried out replacement plates in all my die cutting machines and they worked a treat. Here's the video link ua-cam.com/video/LhP3qr5ChoA/v-deo.html, you'll find all the info in the description box and more info as I chat about them in the video. I hope this helps XOX
Hi Cynthia! So sorry I didn't personally reply again when I found the replacement plates. Here's a link to a video you may have already watched, where I test out replacement plates on my die cutting machines and they work perfectly - ua-cam.com/video/LhP3qr5ChoA/v-deo.html. They're about $20AUD for a set of 2 long ones but there's also other sizes available as well. I hope this helps XOX
@@lucypatrickthank you for the reply. I did see this video but you didn’t mention in the description if the extended plates could be used with this specific die cut machine, Vevor. Have you used those temu extended plates with this machine? Were you able to find regular plates on Temu or just extended?
Looks like a sturdy little machine. Love the last card the best. The faux stitching adds a nice touch as well as the rub ons.
I have the small one and love it .
Beautiful cards and great information about machines i love the stitch zig zags you do on the cards must try that thank you x❤
