Creve Coeur here, I had a kbg/TTTF lawn and the fungus was out of control this year. Ripped out all my turf and throwing down a new cultivar this year of just a TTTF. Going to keep it a little shorter next year as well.
Careful of adding sand to clay soil. Really think you’d be better off with a good compost mix after aeration. Can’t seem to get a coarse enough sand shape here but most sands will mix with clay and make cement eventually.
Got the same looking stuff in my yard in central mo. I Believe mine is brown patch. It started to come up and then we got really hot and humid and then got about 5 inches of rain in a couple days. Had it last year in the same spots in the yard. Where my gutters drain to and a couple low spots.
Great informative video on fungicide products. Lawn was looking so good. Will recover like it always does just sucks that when you want the lawn to look its best during Summer is when these issues arise. Fungus and Nutsedge are always something I do not look forward to during Summer. At Least don't see any of that in your lawn this season.
Planting Artimuss in Lawrence KS same latitude as St Louis 45 days over 90 per year. Really appreciate your channel.
Thanks! Artimuss looks great mowed sub 2”

Great to see you posting a new video. Are you still running the spoon feeding program of AMS and 1-1-1 over these summer months?
Yes but not in August
got the same, early fall the front is getting sanded, it will help break up the clay soil and drain much better and level.
Aerate, pick up the cores and then topdress with sand 👍🏻

Pro Sedge wiped it out 👍🏻
Need to overseed the front with some Artimuss and see how it handles 1” cut
Handling it just fine on the side yard
Is it possible for all varieties of cool season grass to get pythium?
Yes, warm season and cool season grass.
i don't know where my comment went. What rate per 1000sf are you using for the Alliette?
4oz per thousand 👍🏻
@@TurfCulture ugh, that's what I thought you would say. That's like $80 per month for me....... 10k sf
those fungicides are expensive, how many applications are in one?
Yes they are not cheap but they are certainly effective. The number of applications depends on the size of your lawn.
Looks like the bent grass checked out but everything else is OK
