You've challenged me to think, something which doesn't come to easily for me. But I think, now my head hurts, lol, that I might shoot it with a stormy and dramatic sky in the background. All the stills and drone video came out really good on this one. Hopefully we'll see more of this in the future.
I enjoyed watching your creative mind work. I thought that the video at 2:49, with the sun obscured by the cross and starbursts shooting out was my favorite shot. Your silhouette at the bottom was also a nice part of the shot. Maybe next time have a few actors' silhouettes looking at the cross in about the same location?
I'd recommend sunset for the cross as it stands. The cross is bare, the landscape is bare. Maybe add some life to it. Invite people, or dogs, experiment. You say you're not religious, so my general advice is maybe take photos of things you care about / understand. It will be easier, you will instinctively know what looks great. Good work, I like your channel.
