@@ShinBladeTV i hope the solution is just increasing the pushback on 21 from behind, so that it can't be repeated. Instead of nerfing 2,1 to be worse frames on hit. 2,1 is like one of my main pokes to control situations at -13 ish. I might have to go back to Street Fighter lol
@@hywolfgaming8932 as a Steve player myself this should not get nerfed. High execution and very rewarding. Why are other characters allowed to hit 90+ damage before tornado but not Steve? Steve’s damage output is one of the lowest in the game. Makes sense for tech like this to exist for him
If they patch this out before fixing the b1 flicker bug ima be annoyed, if they get rid of this hard to execute tech they should atleast give us 2 more ch launchers back then id say its fair

to get somebody's back clean and land frame perfect hits and next to a wall is 1/1000 chance ; fat chance against above blue ranks let alone tourney pay it would be something if you could perform this on the side of a character but nobody is going to get hit by this unless they are super bad the number of times ive even been back thrown I can count on 1 hand just very rare to even be a thing

It might happen if a green rank challenges a Tekken god but even then it's not something that's gonna become a persistent cancer like Azucena wr32 pre nerf or Victor running 2 or Dragunov Feng movelists combo into 70% combo

These aren't things you'll see in high ranks but Vs green ranks yeah it'll happen. Knowing Tekken Devs and peekaboo Nerfs they'll patch it soon

Realistically... how often do you even get to punish someone from the back? Honestly it seems incredibly limited to me, but i'm basically a fighting game noob entirely, but I just don't really see how it's "broken" when it kinda requires a serious level of skill and very fortunate setup to hit someone from behind...
You can block King's or Eddy's special spring kick, do a deep sidestep on some specific moves, catch a Raven slippin... it happens more often than not.
Sometimes when someone does a certain low attack on you, you actually get +frames. You’ll be able to side out of their next attack if they decide to do a non-tracking follow up. This also works if they decide to heat smash right after using heat burst. But all in all, look at there patterns, everyone has a pattern in their playstyle.

Lab the game enough and you’d see you can punish someone from behind very very consistently. All it is is learning when to sidestep.
