    This is an awesome Guide!
    I also find it useful to review the replay list and find patterns on most common scenarios you encounter in rank and create frameworks for them.
    I hope this helps.

    21 12f punish is now the most broken punish in this game.
    if you do pkb cancel after 21 you are what +11/12 point zero range.
    this leads into guaranteed mixup nothing you can do.
    b2 is 100% guaranteed if opponent presses anything even rage art ( except f1 raven)
    and if opponent presses nothing you can open him up with db32.
    this is straight up a true 50/50 after a 12f punish dear lord use it before it gets nerfed
    if you land the b2 it’s additional 52 dmg… and at the wall potentially 100…
    and if you hit him with the db32 you dealt 50dmg and are again +4 …
    FROM A 12 F MOVE this is ridiculous

      Thanks for the ideas man, I just use 21 as a poke to allow me to start pkb pressure but your advice will definitely increase my effectiveness.

    • @ranges787
      @ranges787 25 днів тому +1

      @@2DGirls4lyf db32 is frame perfect otherwise opponent can backdash and punish . try going for d21 in the beginning there you have 2-3 frames time to beat nearly everything except rage art thats again frame perfect with d21

      @JohnGlow2 24 дні тому +1

      Only duck when he’s being predictable. Being obvious with your ducking is an easy way to get Ws22 looped, PKB UF2 Launched, or eat any other mids unnecessarily

    Steve's low game is a joke when most other characters can launch a combo from the low. Steve is super easy to lab coz 90% of his moves are middle and high.

    • @GamerNemy
      @GamerNemy  24 дні тому +1

      Easier said than done
      He is very safe and compact making it very difficult to punish him heavily.
      And you can't be very aggressive against him because of his CH tools

      @mikebelmont5919 Dude, that has been Steve's architype since Tekken 5.
      Hwoarang for example has always been a good matchup for him because of that fact.

      @@supakaioshinI'm sure a top Korean Steve player has emailed about it long time ago.
      They do not want Steve, Nina, Law, Kaz to be good. No legacy characters. King, Paul, and Yoshi have always been very popular but low win rate....
      New meta for legacy characters. B1 with Steve is old tech.
      Like Nina, the new tech is chain throws. They literally want you to do chain throws lol

      @@90sPotatoAccording to the frame data, yes. However, in reality he can get punished at -12. Try it in practice mode.
