Just a reminder:
All business will need the 3:
1. Name registration (DTI/SEC)
2. Business Registration (City Hall)
3. BIR Registration (BIR)
You can register as a professional (No need name registration) but still BUSN PERMIT + BIR. Even if your clients are foreigners, even for micro/small businesses.
“DTI Registered” is not considered a legally registered business as it only takes 5 mins to get DTI online.
I would like to ask if you have an idea on what are the requirements if you have foreign partnership for a cafē business?

Hello, we are starting a corporation with my friends, specifically an online retail shop, should we register it first? Or are we free to start without permits? Will there be penalties if we register after a year of operating online? We're still trying if it will survive.
thank you, very informative ☺️
Daghan salamat! Amping permi!😊 from Detroit, planning to go back home and open a tech biz in the Philippines. Originally from CDO 😊

Thank you so much for this! Regarding the SEC Registration expenses, the 5k to 10k cost, is this determined by the calculator directly or not? What other costs should we expect aside from that which is determined by the calculator (which ofcourse is dependent on the declared capital)? Thank you!
Thanks mam charm very informative.maayung gabee cebu.🥰

JIM INCOME I’m curious how you do it there 🤔
@@CharmdeLeon In the US, we have the IRS. You can applied to get a Employer Identification Number or EIN that's associated with your personal social security number. You would want to register the business a LLC with the state. Then you can applied for EIN. Once you have the LLC paper and EIN number. You can go to bank to open a checking account, credit cards in your business names. Then when you apply for affiliate offers or even google adsense, you would use your EIN or business name. So that way your name and private social number is not show to anyone. Thanks!
thank u for sharing po! very helpful!
Thank you for the knowledge. God bless you.
🤗🙏🏻

Best Regards,

Thank you so much Charm!
Thanks Ms. for sharing this.
Thankyou so much mam for the information ❤️
Amazing 🎉
Hello! I hope you see my question and reply. As a sole prop business owner in the food industry, how would you go about expanding/branching out to different cities/municipalities? Would you need to register another sole prop for each branch you decide to open or would you just apply for Mayors, BIR etc permits for each location?
wow! helpful kaayo! salamat!
Lyle Tanciano welcome! ☺️
Thank you Miss this can help me alot
Just watched you vids, and i continue watching when i heard you said "Sugbo".

You can be an accounting reviewer. Nice video
Hi Ms. Charm! Hope you can do a separate video that focuses more on registering an Airbnb business specially now that it’s required to be DTI registered by April 😊
Thank you for this vid! Narefresh yung knowledge ko tungkol sa partnership and corp.

Thank you for the video :) I register my online business and they didn’t require me for Mayor’s Permit :)
So informative! Thanks for sharing :)
firecrackerfrance welcome, France! Does it work the same there?
@@CharmdeLeon i'm actually not 100% sure because i know NOTHING about starting/registering for a business haha i still have a lot to learn
Hey! my brand name has an “& Co” in it and we’ve already been in business for a few months now but we just learned that if we register we cannot use Co as sole proprietor. is it worth to register into a 2 person corporation for our online business or is that too big for our modest business?
WOW !!! AMAZING KAAYU ! Very informative . Klaro na klaro kaayu pagka explained. Akong brain cells ni gimok na . Hahahahaha
Hahaha salamat! 🙏🏻 🤗
@@CharmdeLeon God Bless you po hehehe .
Hi, thank you for sharing
very informative content. im learning a lot from this channel. new subs here.
very helpful
Thank you for sharing
Thank you , very informative....
Glad it was helpful!
Hello, thank you for the very informative video.
I would like to clarify regarding business name and brand name.
Does it mean, 1 business name can have a lot of different brand names as long as it is registered in IPO? Like Bistro Group of companies with diff brand names or chains of resto such as itallianis, TGI fridays and etc..
I hope you can enlighten me more coz I have a food stall and would like to register it this year. Thank you so much 😊
Thank you for this! Saved my ass from the penalties. Almost impulsively registered at DTI because of how easy it was.
Zachary Aldave yes! A lot of people do. What you can do if you’ve made that mistake is just to get another DTI Certificate (with a slightly different name 😂), but it would still be an expense haha
@@CharmdeLeon How much is the penalty?
@@CharmdeLeon hello mam kumuha po kami ng dti nung opening namin and hindi po namin naasikaso agad yung bir/mayors permit, and if magpapalit po kami ng name magkano po aabutin ng penalty 3months napo kami nag ooperate now po lang po kami nakaipon ng pagkuha ng mayors permit
Follow up question can I use, quickbooks (online based accounting books) for the books instead of the physical ones?
i hoped you elaborated on the brgy/regional/nat'l registration in DTI. so does that mean if i apply for brgy, i can only sell within the brgy?
how bout opc? and hm gagastusin... who can u recommend n accountant??
cash receipt, cash disbursement, general ledger, general journal
Thank you!
Hi charm, thank you for the video. Very informative. May I just ask, I’m planning to open a business, a rental business like yours “sugbo merkado”, what will be the ideal business type to register. And maybe can I pick your brain more about that business. Thank you!
May I ask what are the requirements for foreign partnership? since my partner is a foreigner, what are the things she need to do first for our partnership?
I love your videos, may request sana ako please gawa ka video how to register or start stock corporation business step by step in Philippines. Thank you
Thank you.
what if the business is under a company in the US and they would like to register the business here in the Philippines and still will be under their company name in the US, what process should I follow
Ma'am I have question. If I want to branch out my business to another city do I need to get another mayor's permit for that particular area? Example my main branch is at Manila then I want to put up another one at Pampanga. Do I still need to get mayor's permit at Pampanga City Hall?
I got my DTI and BIR sole prop last Feb and I wasn’t very aware getting the mayor’s permit or business permit and barangay clearance if they’re needed. Can I still acquire the business permit without penalty? Also, will I be required FSIC if my office is home office only?
