What is Rome, Italy like in 2021? There are far fewer tourists than normal! It's a great year to visit Rome. All of the tourist sites and museums are open, and they're a lot less crowded. We asked several of our Roman taxi drivers how the crowds in 2021 compare to a normal year, and they told us tourism in Rome is at about 35% of normal levels. So make 2021 your year to visit Rome!
We were in Italy for 10 days, but only had 72 hours in Rome, so we focused on visiting some of the must-see sights such as the Vatican, Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, the Coliseum etc., but we also made time for some "off the beaten path" sights such as the Knights of Malta Keyhole, Quartiere Coppedé, Trastevere, Capuchin Crypt of Santa Maria della Concezione and Villa Borgese.
And of course, no vlog of Rome, Italy in 2021 would be complete without an appearance of the famous Roman Pastas: Gricia, Cacio e Pepe, Carbonara, and Amatriciana.

Great vlog on Roma! You did a fantastic job capturing the feeling of wonder and grandeur throughout the city.
I was there a few years ago for the worlds most gorgeous wedding and stayed for a full week. I wish I would’ve stayed for 3! I don’t think I would’ve seen all I wanted in even that much time. It is such an incredible city; I can’t wait to go back again and bring my twin 20 year old boys. They would absolutely love it there!
I have a few questions for you…what were the covid restrictions in Italy/Roma? We’re masks required at all? Vaccines required? Also, the scooters are an awesome addition! We’re they hard to get/reserve for 2 at a time? If so, I’m curious if they would be tough for 3 or 4 at once?

Yes we could have stayed for 3 weeks as well!
Masks had to be worn inside the museums, and they had just introduced the vaccine passport when we were there. So we had to show proof of vaccination before going into the Colosseum and Vatican, and all the restaurants to sit inside.
The scooters are everywhere! You'll have no problem finding 4 of them.
