If 73 Yards had a Title Sequence | Doctor Who

I loved the latest episode of Doctor Who. The lack of a title sequence added something for me, it really unsettled you right from the start having all the credits just pop up at the start over the actual episode.
In this video I've created my own variant of the title sequence! I removed Ncuti's name from it since this episode only featured him for a few minutes at the start and end. I also swapped Millie's name from the companion spot right up to the top and slowed it down a bit, much like Heaven Sent's title sequence.
This video is not me saying it NEEDED an intro by any means. I think the episode works perfectly without one. If you haven't watched it yet, please go and see it :)

I guess the reason it didn't get one is because you can't have doctor who without the Doctor since he disapeared

It's impactful seeing only Millie's name just like how in the Heaven sent opening, it's impactful only seeing Peter's name

I still think the title sequence should have appeared RIGHT at the very end, making the episode the longest cold open in history.

I love the idea of omitting Ncuti Gatwa's name entirely even though he was in the episode, because by the time you placed the intro, the Doctor was already non-existent anymore.
That said, if there had to be a title sequence in the episode I feel like it should've been at the very beginning before any scene at all. I think it works better without one

This was perfect, but if they thought the titles would have broken up the episode, they should have just put it at the start, I feel. Not every episode needs a cold open. The classic series didn't do them, and the odd revival episode hasn't too. I do think they should all have a title sequence though.

True, I was debating between doing a cold open or no cold open, either way would work really, but having it during these unsettling scenes can really take you out of it :)

This actually would have made perfect sense. However you could have swapped Ruby as front and placed 15 after. This happened once with 12 and Clara when the names were swapped.

haha i didnt even notice there was no title sequence i was that engrossed lol maybe there was no titles as there was no doctor for much of the episode

I was torn between doing them at the beginning or in between this scene, I felt that the sudden cut to the pub seemed like a good fit for the title sequence :)

It’s Town 10 Display, I can’t remember the specific weight off the top of my head right now. They’re all labelled in my clean titles pack though! :)
