    Big job done Euan! Well done as always. You had better build an extension to the shed to give this beauty a proper place to live.

    Great Work , Yes you're right in saying why replace good bearings in a engine that had no issues .

      Их можно проверить на выработку, произвести дефектовку визуально-контрольным методом.

    Nice work fella, I did the valve stem oil seals in my GSX 1400 last week and know just how much of a pain they can be without all the other bits. Especially as it looks like they have not done the job and still seeing oil on top of the piston :-(

    That engine looks chic enough to wear a bowtie.

    Love it Euan and that finish is awesome. I’m guessing you replaced the seals as you went, they looked pretty new. And you won’t believe the heat these buggers kick off, real leg toasting stuff😂

    Fantastic job. I love the ceracote finish. Did you use a matt lacquer on the bare alloy clutch cover or is it silver ceracote?

    Hi Euan, hope you and the family are well. Really enjoyed this video and interesting to see the process. I've always liked the FJ's, even the latest 'wet' version. Looking good in mean black. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe and keep up the good work. 👍✌

    Euan, hello my friend! Please tell me what is this device you have at 22:22 minutes? Do you use it to hone cylinders? Please write what it is called or, if possible, provide a link to this device! Thank you! P.S.: I watched your episodes with Yamaha vmax 1200, I myself have the same motorcycle in the process of restoration. I just bought a new engine from Japan, restored the carburetors and bought Sumitomo six-piston calipers. Thank you!

      It's a honing tool for power drills! Easy enough to find I'm sure.
      Your V-Max sounds great! Good luck with it 💪🏼🔧

    I rebuilt my CB750 engine without getting it painted, thought it would be easier to get it done afterwards but I think that was a mistake. Probably should have done the pieces while they were separated. Great work!

    Nice Job can I ask what the creamy coating is inside the head etc

    • @ShooglyShedMotors
      @ShooglyShedMotors  7 місяців тому

      I'm not sure exactly what you mean? The inside of the head was vapour blasted (but not the bearing journals) and degreased.

    At 22:43 is that a score in the bore?

      It's a line of marking paint from the edge of the new piston ring. Wipes off! I noticed it too and had a mild panic 😅
