    If you have a pillion seat you have to have the pillion footrests fitted for an MOT, some while away but worth remembering

    Congrats on the Bike Shed Show entry, that’s huge. I have no doubt you will get the bike finished in time, my worry is that you won’t have a decent beard in time so won’t be allowed in😅

    Getting those wires through the bars and out through the holes must have been fun?

    Someone in the sky is just playing with the thermostat, I think. We have very weird weather here too, temperatures going up and down 20 degrees in 2-3 days. / I've always been interested with the clean handlebar look, but I have hydraulic brake and clutch. I think it would be more difficult than with wires and cables.

    Just spent a week up in Comrie, way colder than Manchester ATM. Got a link for those momentary switches? Siv.

    If you take flatslides, don't take the RS. The TMRs are so much better. They are more pricey, yes, but would also look so much better on this bike.

    The cosmetic work you did on the carbs is fantastic. Was it just paint or was there any Cerakote?

      I split the 4, ultrasonic cleaned them, masked and painted them with Simoniz Tough Paint, then polished the spacer sleeves, replaced most of the fixings with new stainless ones, then put them all back together! They just need jets cleaned out or replaced and they'd be good to go internally too.

      @@ShooglyShedMotors Excellent job. Mine are looking tatty so I'll rejuvenate them next winter. Thanks for the info. I'd love to get over to the Bike Shed show.

    I have that exact same headlight and it failed the MOT for no beam pattern and no DOT marks?

    • @ShooglyShedMotors
      @ShooglyShedMotors  5 місяців тому +1

      Mine has DOT and E marks. No reason to fail an MOT. Beam pattern isn't everything anymore, just needs a flat top edge to the beam and doesn't kick-up.

    Hey, ich bin der Meinung das Kettenspiel ist zu gering ! Nochmals kontrollieren wenn sie eingefedert ist und eine Person drauf sitzt ! Kann leider kein Englisch ! Schöne Gruße aus dem Sauerland (Germany)
