Hi. Outstanding and Congratulations. Yes, very pleasurable watching it all come back together. Had my XJR1300 now for almost 10 years and love it. I've never rebuilt this engine so was really interested to watch. Thanks again.
Extremely satisfying to watch these tired looking parts being revitalised! Good job, young sir! 💙🏴👏
Therapeutic chill out music and assemblies.
Great Content. Excited to see how this one comes together.
Hi Euan, hope you're well. Nice to sit at the bench now and then for a clean-up job. Sand blasting does a great job of cleaning the metal parts. Good job. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe and keep up the good work. PS. Have you given any thought to setting up an Amazon wish list? Good for all those consumables we get through so quickly, maybe. 👍✌
Great idea - I've just set one up - link is on my channel - thank you!
have had an xjr1200 for nearly 26 years now, never needed to touch the alternator so far, starter is different story, have done service and brush replacement once or twice, i usually mark the motor first as you can get polarity wrong, ie spins wrong way, i am very fermilliar with xt600 starters, they use same brushes as xjr one, they can wear out brushes after 5 or 6 years of regular use, nowadays i have a spare starter for the xt serviced up and ready to go. ride the xt far more than the xjr nowadays.
👌
Hi, whats the CFMs on your compressor, please?
11CFM 👍🏼
ua-cam.com/video/la4YT_P3jVc/v-deo.html Is that a broken wire hanging down from the armature?
Not sure what that is, but I inspected the armature and didn't find anything so whatever it was, it must have fallen off. Maybe a hair or something.
