They have been able to provide more safety for the crew due to their excellent technical advancement, as seen by their fully armored body, which protects against missiles, bullets, shrapnel, and explosions. They are also capable of carrying a variety of modern armament systems, such as turreted large-caliber cannons, machine guns, anti-tank guided missiles, and even rockets. Each tank competes for outstanding firepower, mobility, and strength. These features, however, no longer determine which tanks are currently the most advanced in the world. Today, the most modern tanks are distinguished by their artificial intelligence or AI and remote operational capacity. So here are the top ten best tanks on the market right now.

The KF51 is probably a very good MBT. But its hard to tell yet, its not even in service by any nation.
Don’t sleep on the Leopard 2, there’s a good reason that Canada and most Western European countries use them as their main battle tank.

The Type 10 is a much lighter tank designed for Japanese soft countryside's mountainous terrain, but it compromises protection.

Type 10 is a light/medium tank similar to US' Grffin II tank. It's not a replacement for Type 90.
The whole automatic target acquisition/ammo selection etc mentioned for the Abrams is true for the K2 as well (and I imagine others with their latest upgrade packages as well, although that's just a guess)
The best weapon that a tank could have is a skilled and efficient tank commander..
The tank I'm most curious about is the Altay tank, almost rebuilt. Since 2018, it will enter the inventory in 2023. Altay will be a tank that has nothing to do with the Altay tanks you've seen so far. There are many reasons for this. Due to engine change

Are you joking? This thing is shitty af. They don't have the components for the armor, motor and so on. They need to work together by the Korean government, because Germany and French won't work with them, after the the coup back in 2016 by the turkey government xD
@@captaintavish3888 yes I know, $800 million was paid for technology transfer in 2008 and Altay is almost a 70-ton tank while the K2 is 55-tonne. If Altay is a NATO tank, then the K2 is a classic asia pacific tank, there are many differences between them.
@@RedshawnJones The MTU engine embargo was already evident. Germany has not supplied engines for land systems since the 2000s, it provides engines for warships. On the contrary, engines are produced jointly with MTU in Turkey, such changes are the Germans.
형제의 나라인 터키에서 한국의 powerpack을 구매하여 Altay 에 사용하게 된 것에 감사합니다. 하지만 한국의 powerpack은 55t 의 k2 를 운용하는 데도 약간의 어려움이 있습니다. trasmission의 문제가 완벽하게 해결되진 못해서 빠르게 가속하는데 어려움이 약간 있습니다. K2 보다 무거운 Altay 는 아마 가속이 좀 더 느려질 수 있습니다. 그래서 한국 K2도 엔진은 한국산이지만 trasmission는 독일에서 수입을 합니다. 이 문제는 몇년안으로 해결이 되리라 예상합니다. 그 때는 Altay 가 더 훌륭한 powerpack을 가지게 될 겁니다.

The T-14 has not been put into production as far as I know.
Dozens have been built actually, it's just slow since the company that was supposed to manufacture it suffered from financial issues that I don't think were related to the T-14. But neither has the Kf-51 been produced yet it's crowned as the best?

Didn't you guys tell us two years ago the T-14 was the superior tank??? Have you actually seen it in a combat situation??? Why haven't other countries bought the T-14??? I know, it is as good as the aircraft carrier that Russia has built. In WWII what made the T-34 the best tank, was the ability to produce a lot of them quickly. IMO the T-14 right now is a show tank and not enough of them to make a difference in any conflict, does not belong on this list!!!

I heard the T14 Armata wasn't being produced any more due to it being too expensive to buy! It's cheaper to upgrade older T- series tanks! Although I heard one or two may be near Ukraine!
Bruh, serial production started early 2022, it was suspended for a brief period from 2018 to 2021 as testing hadn't yet been completed.

Norwagian government must make the detailed test results public that the government had tested the two MBTs,K2 Black Pander and Leopard 2A7 for almost one year in Norwagian territory in 2022.Then we come to know that what is the best MBT in the world.

well not exactly. The Leclerc actually had better equipment since it already had a CITV (Commander's independent thermal sight) plus it also had a Digital Battle Manegement System with colored display maps on a TV screen inside the tank for the commander that shows reported enemy units on the TV screen, which increases situational awareness for the crew so they know where enemey reported targets are...
This is something that the Challenger had always lacked, so at least in this category the Leclerc was always superior as it had much better situatuional awareness which is key on the modern battlefield. Also the Leclerc already had a turret bustle with blow-out-panels so that if the turret ammo was hit it would just blow outwards and not kill the crew, unlike the Challenger which still had no separate bunker at all, so if the ammo got hit it would risk the entire crew to be killed, just as it actually happened in one case where another Challenger hit and destroyed a friendly Challenger, killing the entire crew.... This friendly-fire incident could have been prevented if the Challenger would have had the same Digital Battlefield Manegement System that the Leclerc always had...
But at least the new Challenger 3 will finally get all of these upgrades now, plus a new Active Protection System (APS) on top of that, so at least the new Challenger 3 will finally be better than the Leclerc (after 25 years of the Leclerc being superior all the time)....

Its a major step up from previous Russian T series tanks like the T-90A, T-72B3s and T-80BVs but all honesty the soviet/russian t-series tanks were designed for yesterday's war and have pretty much reached as far as technology and research can keep them relevant .
@@cherrypoptart2001 My original comment was a joke. But seriously, the only thing I agree with being outdated is the internal ammo storage in the crew compartment because it's so easy to detonate by top attack warheads.
The armor is as good or better than on western tanks. The top armor is much better, especially on the frontal hull. Other upgrades, such as an APS are planned for the future, so the platform isn't holding anything back technologically.
The M1A2C Abrams belongs at the top of the list. The KF-51 Panther isn't in widespread service, so it really doesn't belong on this list. If you're going to include it, then the Abrams X should also be included.
Well there isnt much M1A2cs to begin with , of the 600 the US built i think only like 80 were upgraded to the M1A2c standards. The M1A1 makes up the backbone of the US tank fleet as majority of the original 105mm M1s were retired and are being kept in storage .
The T-14 armata also doesnt belong on this list as of the 140 that were built only 35-40 are activily in service with the russian army and are assigned to some elite tank unit that u see on victory day. The other 100 tanks are older models used in development and research.
I agree with the KF-51 . It shouldnt be here as not even a dozen have been made and its more than likely to not enter service anytime soon.

Tanks need drones to work together in today combat or they wont last long Ukraine war has shown that how much the west has learn from Ukraine war is unavailable keep strong Ukraine.
You can rate the Russian tank any position! Russia is not building this tank! Reason to expensive! Instead they are upgrading T 72, 90, and it looks like T 62. You have to watch the videos or read the white papers on the state of the Russian military. Any info you have taken from the Russian military is not accurate. This is one area where all of these videos just lose creditability. Have you seen the footage of Russian Drones, they are using commerical cameras. Really? And where is Russia going to get the microchips to manufacture these high tech devices. Not China!

Interesting summary of the approved narrative regarding Russia. In the Special Military Operation to liberate the east of Russia's 'borderland' (the Ukraine) from the persecution of it's ethnic Russians in this civil war of 8 years, Russia is using the weapons in it's arsenel that it needs, not what it can. I challenge you to read Russian sources and at the risk of finding out that the Ukraine and NATO are sufferring equipment and manpower attrition at an unsustainable and economically destabilising rate. This is an artilliary, missile and unmanned drone war on an industrial scale despite western assertions that Russia is backwards, it's equipment is inadequate, that it is isolated diplomatically, morally exhausted and running out of munitions and trained and motivated manpower, Sir.

Not a very good list way out of wack. The authour needs to look at more information about these tanks combat history is a big factor. The Arfarta tank should not be on the list and you didn't even put the Type 10 Japanese tank which is the thier latest tank introduced in 2010. Thumbs down from me crap list.
Don't think Armata belongs in spot 3! Maybe last as russian weaponry by now almost absolete and underperforming! My opinion. Even a basic Leopard 2 is a good match for Armata .
just have a look at its canon itll punch through anything west has to offer , and leopard were useless during turkeys mission against kurdish tribes they destroyed them using obsolete atgms

I'd disagree but since we haven't seen it in action as it's still in production we should reserve judgement. The armta isn't like the old soviet design. It has hard kill and soft kill APS. And i believe it has 1000m protection against kinetic rounds. A tanks employment and strategy is more important. Russia just is using its tanks poorly. I'd say most all these tanks are pretty much equal it's tactics and support that'll make the difference. When you get hit in the top with a hellfire a few miles out it won't matter what tank you're in.

Currently, Japan is legally unable to provide weapons to other countries.

a tell tale sign of how good the Indian tank might be is Wiki. The 'Arjun' main battle tank is THE main tank in India today. It is not used in any other countries. Columbia and Bahrain have expressed interest but no one is buying

@@prasannalion98 yes there are other factors to. price point might be one that Armenia likes. Also, crews that man weapons such as tanks and aircraft have a lot to do with the outcome in a fight. You can have the best equipment at your disposal but if it's not in the correct hands then you loose. I'm sure India has great equipment maybe they need to work on marketing better (?)

i guess this list is pointless if you’re fighting in japan hills would render challenger and abrams useless , the markev has its engine in front would easily be spotted and shot …we all know how turkey lost its leopard tanks in syrian invasion and coming to t14 and kf51 , they are so niche that in a full scale war will they even be economically viable to put on ground ( for example america gave ukraine m777 howtizers which have titanium in them ultra light but now because of the “ titanium “ ukraine can’t repair them easily on field.
