@@eyad1798 Agreed, but Minecraft Java Edition with Fabric Mod loader and 3 mods: Sodium, Lithium, Phosphor, probably beats Bedrock Edition's chunk loading if not performance. You can easily get over 800fps on most computers. On my bad laptop with a gtx 920mx gfx card I went from getting around 60fps to well over 200+ with max video settings, render distance 12, around 100+ mods, and on 1.16.5.
intel hd graphics can handle shaders with above 60 fps which is amazing but hey i have an intel g41 express chipset and play minecraft with like 80 fps (low settings)
Here's the thing about shaders: Optifine is used to run them, Optifine overhauls a lot of rendering the game normally does. And improves performance a LOT. Minecraft has probably the worst rendering I've ever seen and optifine fixes all of it. Shaders also run better than the original game because of this. Shaders don't go on top of the original game, they tell the gpu how to render it. If you're really looking for performance, use optifine with the "Internal" Shader. Also adds fxaa which is something I'm surprised minecraft doesn't have yet.
If your laptop is hissing you should probably take to the vet and get a new laptop and stop playing fetch with it and my final word of advice is stop watching that many cat videos
I didn't really appreciate how good Sildur's enhanced default looks until I saw this video. Always used to vibrant instead, but thanks to this I may actually give it a try.

A gtx 1080 is fairly in the medium range of Nvidia graphics cards. What I believe he meant by "run on almost anything" is that it's playable at 30 fps minimum. I personally use a rtx 2060 and get 1000 plus fps in vanilla so fps is not an issue

That's called Fresnel effect, it's based on the angle you're looking from. If you're looking from above, less reflection, if you're looking at a flatter angle, more reflection.

@@nuhuh1615 csgo maps are small and is designed to get the most performance (fps and gameplay) on a competitive level while still maintaining a good look while minecraft isn't it need to render a shit ton loads of chunk because it's an open sandbox game with almost infinite generation of blocks so yeah if you go install shader and go make a custom world that is purely void it'd get you a shit ton of frames
One shader I would add to this list is makeup ultrafast. It has shadows, motion blur, godrays, depth of field and more, yet performs incredibly well. I had absolutely no lag playing at 10 chunks render distance on my GTX 650 with 4 gigs of ram. Just remember that I played with the modpack "fabulously optimized", so it might give you a bit worse performance, but it should still work.
Sildur's Enhanced Default (1:20) has to be my favorite for low end. It's not as distracting and it overall just blends well. The other's I'd rather play vanilla, they just seem too noticeable for low end. Like I can see all I'd want to be better, but Sildur's doesn't remind me how low end it is, it's just an improved default and not in your face
These shaders are amazing, they manage to make the game look fantastic and visually appealing without betraying the art direction of the game and I'm really surprised it wasn't implicated as an update from the developers instead as a mod (Esspecailly the second and third)

A toaster isn’t a good idea because you have to toast some bread to advance a frame; at least you had to on my old model. I personally prefer using a microwave (for a balance of controls and good FPS) or washer (for controls)

It's really not tho. He's playing on 1440p which has double the pixels of 1080p and is probably on max settings. Without these things he'd easily get 200 FPS or more. And with that I mean the first shader.

I know that feeling being stuck with an Ivy Bridge based laptop with out a dedicated GPU. Just happy the base game runs halfway decent most the time.

A toaster isn’t a good idea because you have to toast some bread to advance a frame; at least you had to on my old model. I personally prefer using a microwave (for a balance of controls and good FPS) or washer (for controls)

ive only tried chocopic toaster edition and i get 30fps-50fps on amd ryzen 3 3200g, its not bad for integrated graphics
@@IvanTube0 true but not for intel chips around the same gen. Ryzen has VEGA integrated gfx and they are amazing for the price. Good pick!

to fix that, you can go into Options > Video Settings > Max Framerate and then turn it to unlimited. Done :)

Chocapic toaster edition works fine for me. from 80 fps to 30. Had to change the render distance to 8, but it is worth it!

Edit:Upgraded my pc, it runs now
It's really not tho. He's playing on 1440p which has double the pixels of 1080p and is probably on max settings. Without these things he'd easily get 200 FPS or more. And with that I mean the first shader.
