I like that you show other dimensions and different times of the day
I love using AstraLex, and it can do very well on an old machine, when knowing what to disable in the options. However I never see it mentioned on in many shader lists, this one included, and I have no idea why. If you want I can share my config file, It tweaks both the performance but also some lighting and screen effects.
I tried tweaking it to be a no lag shader but I just couldn't

@@EnderVerseMC I was saying that that I did take the time to optimize it for a 9 year old gtx970 , where I capped the FPS to 40, with a 90 FOV and full HD resolution. It's a success and quite enjoyable. So I wonder how it will perform on your much more modern setup

though, i just downloaded the solas shader and moved it to the resource packs folder (i'm on an older macOS), and i'm not seeing it on minecraft's resource pack page. able to help at all?
move it to the shaderpacks option, although I don't think mac can run mc shaders

if you have the m1 mac or are planning on getting it you can run sildurs lite at 70 fps
I have successfully made these lose the title of "Will Run On Any PC"
will run on any reasonable 'gaming pc'
if you have 4gb of vram should b able to at least be able to run these around 40 50 fps

photon is honestly probably the best low end AND NOW HIGH END shader. seriously, put it up to max and just be amazed.
Builder's QOL worked best for my laptop. And its so pretty too!!
What is the mod that changes the options menu so you can change the mod pack?
If you guys are struggling with shaders and have optifine, I recommend installing Sodium and Fabric, My fps with shaders (optifine) was only going around 20 frames per minute and then I installed Sodium and with powerful shaders my fps is going to 104.
but sodium make my fps 40
add nvidium as well and you get like 100X the fps

Thats a bug on my pc as well the way I fix it is I just click f1 then look away from it

I use sodium and run a 1050 ti yes ik its old but i get like 350 to 500 fps with my i5 9600k not overclocked btw 😁

The only shader I can run is sildur basic but it is laggy 💀 and I can run prominence II and somehow that works with 10% lag btw I have 8gb RAM

Dude, You could play high end shaders with those specs. I’d recommend a shader called rethinking voxels. It has path tracing and is stunning. I’d also look at bedrock editions rtx shaders as they look amazing.

If you're talking about the files of the shaders, you're not supposed to open them.
You open the run app on on your pc,
Type: %appdata%/.minecraft/shaderpacks
Then drag the zip file to the folder.
Open/restart your minecraft.

Install a mod pack called “Remarkably optimized” Went from 30 fps on 8 chunks to 80 fps on 21 chunks.
All of them still lag.
Please when you UA-camrs want to test low end PC stuff, test them on a low end PC.
