Transmission Fluid Change (2006 Subaru Forester)

In this video we will change the transmission fluid on a 2006 Subaru Forester X. If you own a different year forester or even other Subaru, the process will be nearly identical.

I have the same vehicle. You should also change the filter which is similar to an oil filter located above on the side of the case. Your fluid was pretty dark as mine was also so I'd recommend cycling a bunch more fluid through in a few thousand miles. I also put some sea foam trans tune in with my new fluid. I intend on changing even more of it out soon.
