I love you, Ina, I'm serious ♡ I have learned SO MUCH from you. Back in the day before FN did your show back to back for one hour in the afternoons. Before I had your cookbooks, there I sat with my notebook, like a student, writing ALL of your recipes down. With rapt attention, I became your Number One Fan. Now you're on UA-cam!♡!♡ ~ my friend, how do I thank you? Your sweet spirit and lovely teacher-type ways made me want to cook and bake for everyone. You're my best friend, Ina ♡ Thank you a million times over.
To serve this at a party I put puff pastry in muffin trays then spooned the filling into each one. Had to add an extra egg and saved some cheese for tops. Worked great!
When you’re in your 20’s and look at this: “Omg! That looks so good! I can’t wait to make it!” When you’re in your 50’s and look at this: “Omg! Look at all the eggs and cheese. Too much cholesterol. That could kill me! I can’t wait to make it!”
Really? I am a person that loves to do things full-out but this is a great alternative to a quick easy lunch idea when time is not on your side. I think it is refreshing that she does not have airs about using store-bought puff-pastry or ground nutmeg. If you have the time to make from scratch and want to grate your nutmeg- all the better! No shame either way.
That's looks good I want some now but I can't go get it because no money now why I just live with my mom and she is 76 now she can't drive and me too but I can a little bit
It adds complexity to anything with pastry involved. You almost don't taste it. Most donut recipes contain nutmeg (a lot of people don't know that). It's not really added to taste the nutmeg. It just adds a unique warmth
I've never seen any chef so excited to eat what they've made like this lady before. Love it!
Not a chef
Made this for lunch today. Delicious! Thanks, Ina!

yeah, only a 50 year-old would still believe that eggs mess up one's cholesterol lmao
And 2 tsp of salt! I never add salt to mixtures with cheese - Chefs love salt
Mmmmm...so fancy looking but tasty. I love watching Ina create.
NATALIE HARRIS so fancy looking yet easy! :)
Looks great. Perfect.
I need to make this. I'll end up eating all of it since my sons don't like spinach. Oh well, more for me!! Thanks Ina!!

Amazing
So surprised by the use of pre grated nutmeg
Jill Wainwright and sheet of puff pastry
If you don’t have time to grow, harvest, and grind your own nutmeg, store bought is fine

TheLeigha72 no shaming here, just sincere surprise.
It’s literally spanakopita (spinach pie), but not traditional spanakopita.
so not 'literally' then...
Yep! I'm using this recipe as my spanakopita base :) But adding dill and feta cheese!

Any substitute for eggs?
Egg Beaters
wish you would include written recipe & closed caption.
Compare5:09 to 5:17 that puff pastry is different
yes wow
I'm assuming the freshly baked one needs to sit for a bit before they cut into it so they cut the one that had been baked previously.
Ina is such a Hufflepuff.
🤤🤤🤤
Let’s see if the Top one fits the Bottom one.. 😂
😇
Nutmeg why? She puts it in everything.

Great work #thebongswad
We can’t buy puff pastry the way this is sold in the US. What a bloody shame. The pastry we have is pathetic thin sheets.

They moved the camera ALOT in this
