Hyrox please hire Gravitas Ventures & Butterybros to do your next documentaries. I personally believe the reach and media growth of HYROX will expand, with how great those guys are!
I did enjoy watching this but, then again, I already am involved in and love this sport. I agree that we have to spread much more awareness of Hyrox and maybe the way to do that would be to hire these bigger production teams. From my perspective- both as a competitor and as someone with an M.S. in Exercise Science- Hyrox is by far the best test of overall fitness that has yet been devised in a competitive format. This sport MUST survive & thrive!
It’s too bad. I was excited to see this documentary. If coming in you knew nothing about HyRox then at the end of this video you came out knowing nothing. Build the suspense between competitors and explain the competition.
Yes, it a very dark worthy video and should have perhaps looked at being brighter both cinematically and engagingly - spotlight what the game is about through telling the real life journeys of the people taking part. Less corporate shots and more gritty real lives perspectives. We need to feel the pulse and see the sweat of ambition and endurance rain down on this film. Sadly its pretty flat and bloodless..
Tia-Clair Toomey would break 1 hour no doubt about it. HYROX should make an offer to her. To bring an athlete of her profile to the sport would be huge.
@@hansnotgruber3326 No doubt the cumulative effect would wear her down, just like with anybody. However, anything around 1 mile and top end CrossFitters tend to hold a pretty good pace.
I'm sorry to say this Because I really love that HYROX exists. However, to have hunter saying "I want to be the ultimate athlete who can do both ...." Referring to being able to squat 1000lbs and be fit in the cardiovascular sense "...and I've finally found the sport where I can do that". What's the maximum weight lifted in HYROX? Not very heavy at all. Hunter was given the opportunity to prove himself at the CrossFit Games and he did t do well at all. He also was very bitter about that in interviews. So for everyone to act like HYROX is the sport of fitness racing is bonkers 😂 it's endurance CrossFit. It's not a complete test in all disciplines of fitness. I'm really glad it exists but there's definitely some weird BS that comes along with it.

Agree 💯. They’ve done great job with CrossFit. Would be nice to actually watch the full race too.....

For real! I had to go watch a random youtuber to get the lowdown on well every single detail of who, what, where & when 'Hyrox' is.

Interesting. No doubt the strength exercises would fit her, but do you really think she could do the 1kx8 run fast enough?

@@hansnotgruber3326 check out some of her training videos doing track work. It’s one of her strengths.
So cool!

I was hoping for another kind of documentary. More in depth.
