Excellent quick view of a few of our good spots…..you do speak french like a québécois, accent, expressions, rythym and all….congrats from Montreal…
Ah that sunset at Mont Royal looks amazing, I try to go there whenever I’m in Montreal!
Wow! I love Montreal as well! its such a chill city with so many cool things to do!
What a nice quality video in every way - Your style and sense of life comes through. The scenes you captured throughout the city, etc. I have seen numerous videos by others in some of the same locales you visited, but you made them more appealing.
Quelle belle prise de vue à 16:30 !
Speaking of the French accent, you'll probably hear about 50 different varieties, from the native "de souche' Québecois, to English-speaking Quebeckers, to Montrealers of Italian, Greek, Portuguese, Morrocan, Algerian, Spanish, Central-American, Middle-Eastern, Haitian, West-African, Romanian, East-Asian, Vietnamese, Chinese, etc.… and many other heritages.
Si jamais tu reviens à Montréal......tu doit aussi aller à la ville de Québec !!! Merci pour tes vidéos !!! Bon Voyage !!!
I've been to Montreal several times. I love your vids because you speak both French and English and I took several years of French...it's a great way to brush up, n'est-ce pas? BTW, thank you for filming in 2160/60.
Bonjour !
The HEC Montréal that you walked by is not the main campus. It is the downtown campus.
The main HEC Montréal campus is located in the Côte-des-Neiges neighbourhood.
Great video. Thank you.
16:10 funny thing is that I saw more English signs in Paris than Montreal.
Try visiting some of the ethnic restaurants in your next visit. Diversity is our strength and you'll find some unique restaurants. Like Kim Fung in Chinatown, which is one of the rare restaurants in North America which still have the cart dim sum.
If you do come again with your parents, then I highly, highly recommend going out west.
Land in Calgary, rent a car for a week and visit the Rockies. The scenery is simply outstanding. Do some hikes. Then drive down to Vancouver and spend a few days there.
Ma ville depuis 1968 , my city since 1968 , great video , j'adore votre contenu , did you enjoy the orange cones ? Avez-vous aimé les cônes oranger?
Montréal, the name actually comes from Mount Royal. Great that you made that connection
Omg Elle you’re reading my mind 😂 for some reason a couple months ago I got an urge to go to Montreal
Je suis Montrealaise!
Montréal is actually called that because of mount royal (mont royal). A famous italian cartographer at the time wrote "Monte Real" on a map of the settlement.
The name stuck.
Happiness Canada tourism beautifull
After watching both of your Montreal videos, I was surprised you did not show the subway/metro. I think this is one of Montreal’s greatest assets. Train frequency was great and utilization was high from morning through night. The underground can be hard to find for first-time visitors. But once in, we found it very enjoyable. Nice array of high-end to mid-range stores. Montreal food was of good quality and very reasonably priced. A particular gem was the Les Enfant Terribles restaurant location (small chain) atop a down-town building - great views and good food. One negative… be careful that any belongings you have in a car are not visible. Our car window was smashed at the Mount Royal parking lot in broad daylight and merchandise stolen. Locals told me smash and grabs in certain sections of Montreal are very common. But I very much enjoyed the city and look forward to returning.
Thank you for the future recommendations, I will definitely be back. Yes for the metro I was planning to walk or bike everywhere! Perhaps next time I’ll try the metro ☺️
Good video. I love Montreal. Have you got a video where you talk about what languages you can speak? And talking about your master's degree?
Not yet ☺️ I’ll keep it in mind!
Great video. As someone who had lived downtown Toronto for decades, I need to correct you about the green spaces/ parks. Toronto has 13% parkland while Montréal has 2%. You might not have spent much time in downtown Toronto.
J'adore tes vidoes.....peut apprendre le francais....et aussie J'ai etudie a McGill 😘tres bien merci
Too bad you didn't go to grad school here because the government gives a tuition discount to students from french speaking countries. So glad you enjoyed your stay 😊
Super! This is so great 😁 I wish I’d known
Mixing French with English 💯💯
Are you considering relocating to Montreal?
The quebeckers are doing cafe 2.0
Cold baguels with nothing on them are not particularly tasty
Good on you for the cream cheese and lox
Fraise is stawberry, of course
Wilensky interesting decor
But very normal baloney sandwiches
If you need to rechange your mind
re-come in febuary ;-)
BONJOURS J'AI SUIVIS UN PARISIAN POUR 2 JOURS À MONTRÈAL ET CE QUI M'A SURPRIS .APRÈS AVOIR MANGÉ UNE POUTINE IL A DIT CELA EST LE MEILLEUR REPAS QUE J'AI JAMAIS MANGÉ???? CECI VENANT D'UN FRANÇAIS ???
You show off a Métro entrance gifted by Paris in 1966, showcasing the collaboration of French engineers in the construction of the original lines.
However, you fail to compare Montréal/Toronto/Paris's subway systems, pas très Parigote de votre part...
Not even a peek at the subway cars never mind the architecture and the public art dans les stations. Lapsus?
