What really confused me is old school Angelous was never campy and annoying - he was a terrifying serial killer vampire - somehow Angelous became a lame “comedian” over time. the Irish accent was better for Angelous.
One of the biggest problems I have with the Buffyverse is how weak Angelus/Angel is despite them hinting multiple times throughout both shows that Angelus is one of the strongest most evil vampires ever existed. Let's be honest here Spike is the stronger vampire than Angelus. Spike not only beats Angel on a one on one fight he also killed 2 slayers and always puts up good fights against opponants that Angelus/Angel would easily lose to like Buffy, Kendra and Faith. Angelus is just an average vampire at best which is a shame. They should've made Angelus much stronger.
Faith has not had a good month first the Beast nearly beats her to death, then Angelus drinks her blood and they go on a weird trip then she goes back to Sunnydale and gets beaten by Caleb then she gets blown up.
True Buffy fans know that Faith could’ve dusted him within 5 minutes of this fight. she’s The Slayer, don’t care how great Angel/Angelus is, the chances are in Faiths favor because she’s a stronger faster more skilled fighter than him. She held back so that she could save him just like he held back to save her in season 1….which was another fight she could’ve dusted him in but she didn’t want to kill him, she wanted him to kill her.
I wouldn’t count Angel/Angelus out tho.. Faith has the strength but Angel has the experience.. he’s 240+ years old. That means he’s gone through this world as a vampire being hunter for that many years. That takes cunning and skill. Faith has never really gone up against a big bad truly on her own. In fact, she was only a slayer for 8 months before she went evil.. then she murdered humans and a couple of demons all weaker than her. When she turned good again she went to jail. Angel has fought big strong demons on his own before as well as taken on buffy a few times and faith! He has a lot of experience fighting. So if it really came down to it.. Faith strength is an advantage but Angels experience is too.. and It were to be Angelus then his ruthlessness would be another advantage.
I’m a true Buffy fan, and you’re WAY off base. Angelus is the most feared vampire in history. Aside from being 346 years old (adding the century he spent in hell), he’s also cunning, deceptive, ruthless and frighteningly fast and strong. And he’s a master at mind games. There were several points here where Angelus could have killed Faith, but he was so full of himself that he wanted to “play” with her first. If he didn’t insist on toying with his food, Faith would have been dead.
Angelus is one of the worst recorded vampires in history. The fact he is also cunning and demoralizes to get into his victims heads indicates Angelus is a cut above and a slayer isn't guaranteed victory.
You seem to ignore the fact that Angelus was still holding back in this fight too. He was toying with her during the entire fight, which would have gone differently if he was truly fighting to kill. Not to mention Faith did way worse against The Beast than Angel did. A real fight between them could go either way.
So #Angel bites Faith and #Buffy but only bites Buffy bc she makes him drink her blood to save him. But with Faith he is Angelas and evil. I wounder if Faith was wishing she was fighting #Buffy instead...ummm #Buffy #BTVS #SMG #SBuffy #BAngel
He took more of a beating because he knew Faith wanted to die, not win, so he did it to save her. Faith does the same thing here. Takes the blows vs risking killing Angelus/Angel.
Angel was holding back trying not to kill her, plus he had his soul. This right here was evil soulless Angelus with no care in the world. Ironic how this time Faith was the one holding back
Way too many movies suggest so. I accept the idea that consuming blood keeps their bodies alive so immediately after feeding, a vamp should be able to perform. Cuz the blood's effect is most fresh. But idk, there's a lot of lore and novels to read through. Just not twilight. Real vamps don't sparkle.
Faiht es una cazadora Asesina y violenta eso que Buffy pudo contra ella que la pudo parar que la apuñaló y la dejo inconsciente pero con Ángel no fue igual Faiht es casi igual a Spike los 2 son casi iguales

How strong slayer is?
And yet she survived all of that.Sit down.
You think Buffy wouldn't have gotten nearly beat to death by The Beast?
True Buffy fans know that Faith could’ve dusted him within 5 minutes of this fight. she’s The Slayer, don’t care how great Angel/Angelus is, the chances are in Faiths favor because she’s a stronger faster more skilled fighter than him. She held back so that she could save him just like he held back to save her in season 1….which was another fight she could’ve dusted him in but she didn’t want to kill him, she wanted him to kill her.
She's also high as a kite because of the Orpheus she took to make Angelus fall into a metaphysical coma.
God i loved this show. The ending was so bad tho
So #Angel bites Faith and #Buffy but only bites Buffy bc she makes him drink her blood to save him. But with Faith he is Angelas and evil. I wounder if Faith was wishing she was fighting #Buffy instead...ummm
#Buffy #BTVS #SMG #SBuffy #BAngel
3:46 Lol says the actual one
how does he destroy faith in this fight but was struggling big time against her when they fought in s1?
He took more of a beating because he knew Faith wanted to die, not win, so he did it to save her. Faith does the same thing here. Takes the blows vs risking killing Angelus/Angel.
@@Bryseuhkenz thanks!
Such devoted friendship
Her intention wasn't to kill him it was to get him to feed on her so he would go into that dream world with her.
Angel was holding back trying not to kill her, plus he had his soul. This right here was evil soulless Angelus with no care in the world. Ironic how this time Faith was the one holding back
0:36 I know that's a necrophilia joke, but can vampires commit necrophilia (Seeing how they are dead) ?
Huh. Interesting point.
Way too many movies suggest so. I accept the idea that consuming blood keeps their bodies alive so immediately after feeding, a vamp should be able to perform. Cuz the blood's effect is most fresh. But idk, there's a lot of lore and novels to read through. Just not twilight. Real vamps don't sparkle.
faith was drug!!
Why does Angel sound like Scooby Doo?

Every time Eliza is replaced by a stunt-double it is very noticeable, it makes you lose your immersion in the TV show. This way of doing the fight scenes mixing Actors and stunt doubles is terrible.
It doesn't for me, subjective statement you made..noticed stunt doubles off and on during my many viewings of the Buffyverse and never lessened anything for me. But I've seen people be bothered by it and everyone has their own preferences.
non è angel...ma ANGELUS
