There are a handful of Hollywood movie stars that seemed to be able to handle any situation with class and humor. Off the top of my head I can think of Sylvester Stallone as a good example of this. George Clooney definitely belongs in that club.

A few years ago Clooney was coming out of the Carlyle Hotel. He greeted everyone out there, & shook hands with everyone, but when he got to my wife ,she pounced on him with a bear hug that I thought security was gonna intervene but he was So Gracious about it. My wife was over the moon that he didn't push her away. He certainly has class!!!

The fact that a person may or may not get away with something (and very often they do) doesn’t mean that it cannot be faked.

Of course when an actor or actress is playing a part they can do their best to act out their characters' part, which is not faking, that is two different actions with very different motivations. One is a job with ethics and purpose and one is based on deceit or being someone you are not essentially, to make yourself appear to others , (or get away with something).
With something you do not even believe in, let alone are yourself. To me, that is faking, which was my point. And I just felt that it did not fit the video we were watching or its possibly subtle or mistaken implication.
I am not a fanatic fan about anyone, but your comment felt like a diminishment of the person he is or what his record shows , as a decent and conscious human being, when he didn't have to be in his position. And your comment seem to put out an air of a possibility that these actors are not being sincere, but acting out publicly, their personal life faking sincerity.; which I felt unfair.
I also felt that your original comment diminished the power of authenticy, sincerity, truth in itself as well; which to me, can never be truly faked as you call it.
In my witness and all I can share here is my understanding of something more powerful and universal than us. When someone thinks they get away with something faked, I believe they are the one's most greatly fooled. For, it may seem as though they "get away" with something, and may not for a long time but, if you look a bit deeper, they do not get away in the end.
And someone who lives sincerely even at times in error but continue to persevere ro live freely, authentically and be that true self in private and in public, they rise and are risen. They may not always be in the limelight with the world but if you look a bit closer, the universe, life, and that which created it, supports them, it, the experience etc..

Great guy. A few years ago he directed a movie SUBURBICON filmed on the next street over from my house in Fullerton CA. He would be seen walking my street as well and greeting my neighbors and taking selfies with them. His wife would stop by and they would walk our neighborhood. Very humble folks!
