I've listened to this well over a dozen times after finding this tune. You did a damn good job translating this track with sounds that real feel like something out from an NES.
I just noticed while listening to this that when you put them both in the same sort of soundfont... the Good Egg Galaxy theme sounds quite reminiscent of the Hyrule Field theme from OoT.

Super Mario Brothers 3 mux is a SMB3 hack with an SMG themed world complete with songs.
Would’ve been nice to hear it in only 4 voices so it sounds like the original Mario.
