I love the idea of Oliveira and Maru intensely discussing professional SC2 strategies at a KFC... over fried chicken and instant mashed potatoes. I forget they're in their 20's and it's not common to meet at Starbucks or a Mexican restaurant with margaritas yet...
Oliveira works so hard. That's his true superpower. He might even be less naturally talented than a lot of his peers. But he just works so damn hard. I never heard that story of how he treated Maru to some KFC to learn how to be a better TvP player, but that's so classic and true to form for him. His sincerity and passion that shines through every time he plays is such an inspiration. No wonder he's the only guy who took Serral for a ride in Atlanta and really put Serral to the test. Honestly, if Maru worked half as hard or as focused, he might be able to challenge Serral for the #1 spot. But it's NOT Maru. It's Oliveira instead who's stepping up to Serral. Truly, the people's world champion.
If Reynor was going to create 22 Nydus Worms in game 1 he could have used them more strategically. He could have placed one in both the top right and bottom left bases to get around the central planetary. Allow for his lings/lurkers to jump between the defensive and offensive lines. Late game has so much potential for zerg if we got to see more of the newer maps in the pool.
Game 2 Reynor starts +1 ranged together with the +2 carapace so he can go +2 melee and +2 range afterward and have his 2/2/2 upgrades lined up nicely, is my guess.
