lmao @PiG, I made the same mistake in game 3, I thought there was a 0% chance of a Byun victory so I skipped right to game 4. Like, 15 seconds before Dark gg'd. ONLY AT THE END OF GAME 4 did I notice the score and was like "ay yo HOLD UP... why does Byun have 2???" lol
i reckon its for the same reason you saw dark gg out of game 3, people just kite out of the swarmhost and as soon as the locusts are are gone you instantly run the hosts over just like dark expected his 10 infestors with no support to get run over. Also in a game THAT low eco he probably can only get out like 5 swarm hosts that dont have the damage to kill anything
I'm commenting before watching: "IF THIS MATCH IS NOT INSANE, I WILL RIOT" EDIT: First 2 games I'm already standing on my chair. EDIT: Ok... that was insane.
Would you start chastising zergs for not cancelling creep tumors? It seems like they've forgotten they can do this if it's obvious the enemy will kill it. (At least, when I played, if you had an active tumor and told it to spread, you could then cancel and redo once safe.)
there was a patch that changed this so you can no longer cancel them once starting. Kinda cool bit of micro that was lost in the attempt to stop creep being so powerful
Nope, first game was ruined by that stupid decision not to fight... this shouldn't be allowed, voluntarily throwing the game because both sides are afraid to fight, wtf this is a tournament...
it's not that they're afraid it's that the best decision is to defend for both sides and whoever attacks will lose. This usually takes longer to decide than they did here so it did a feel a little odd that it was so fast but it would have stalemated either way - also it wasn't a loss, it was an agreed draw even though victory screen comes up for the player that leaves last.
You don't seem to understand the situation. noone threw, noone was afraid and noone made a stupid decision. the only irrational part I can see here is this type of reaction.
I couldn’t disagree more. It was a long game full of action that could have gone either way the whole time. I couldn’t ask for a more fun game to watch.
The craziness of the first match and the energy and analysis you put into the casting is amazing pig.

29:40, so accurate Game of Thrones review 🤣
1h15m before the first point on the board. This is an epic match! Love these two.
Sick game 1 😎 I have seen more florencio draws than pros draws
For a sec I thought this was a reupload of EPT NA finals 1 month ago, but PiG wouldn't do us dirty
Great series! Great cast!
Can I just say one thing. A one hundred and one kill tank let that sink in.
byun will be devastated when dark goes to the military because he will have no one to smack talk anymore.
Why are swarmhosts not played in such low eco situations like game 1?

In the second game is there a reason Byun didn't have a chadhammer tank in his main?
First time in 14 yrs I´ve seen a draw but what a game.

Mass mutualism is a horror show for Terran!
I think after games like this, they decided with new patch to fight against turtleling

twice in this series that byun snatched victory from dark by being aggressive and sacrificing economy.

spoiler alert: game 1 is boring AF!
"insane" lol how misleading is this.
@@Internet_Enjoyer Yeah, game 1 was more like a pre-game warm up that gave us an insane series! Def some end of year highlight reel in here.
imo G1 was super interesting and very close.
