  • This is a video i put together with pictures and videos of my journey swapping a JDM K24A into a 2002 EM2 Honda Civic Coupe. I hope this video can help anyone looking to do a similar build. It's been such a good experience and I've learned alot along the way. I still got big plans for this car. Please leave me any questions in the comments. Thanks again for watching!! See you next time!

Clean car! I find it rare to see one of these done so simple and clean. I think the em2 can look good when its not dumped on rota's with god awful fitment hehe

Hi Guys! I forgot to mention i'm running Tein Flex Z coilovers. I also installed the steering rack Riser and Slider to help with bump steer and correct the angle of the tie rods after lowering the car. This will also work on any 7th gen Honda, EP3 and RSX. I also installed Rigid Collars in the subframe (It definitely helped)!!

Did you have to do any trimming for the s2 manifold? How does it look like?

It fits, we just bent the rad support to get the throttle position sensor to fit.

Are you using a standalone k pro ecu, or did you send one in to get chipped? If so which ecu did you use?

I'm using EP3 ECU with Kpro. I had to send it in to get Kpro installed

What engine originally comes in the Veloz?

ive always thought a k swapped 7th gen coupe or sedan was a cool idea. i ended up just finishing my 6th gen coupe with the same swap as yours. k24a2 engine/k20z3 trans

Thats awesome!! How does it run? I love the 6th gen civics. Its getting really hard to find clean ones. If I was going to build a strait track car i would go for a 6th gen like yours. Can't beat the double wishbone suspension you got. I put alot of time and effort trying to get my Macpherson Strut suspension dialled in. Do you have any mods? Did you keep power steering?

@@SPRacing_1 actually just got it tuned this past saturday. it absolutely rips. the dyno showed 227/187, but we think the dyno was reading just a little low. either way, its a blast to drive.

@@SPRacing_1 i kept a power steering rack but looped the line. might put power steering on it later down the road. i have a hybrid racing intake, rbc manifold ported to 70mm for a 70mm ktuned throttle body, 50 degree vtc, type s oil pump, dtr header and a custom 3" catback

@@goybi7356 Im happy to hear! There's no better feeling then that first drive after a tune. Either way those are good numbers on the dyno!
