No joke! Thrills are a real thing!! I used to love them as a kid :D
My favs: Mr. Big, Coffee Crisp and Maple Cookies
Those maple cookies sound amazing!
Can't believe that is a flavour of gum people eat 😂 We weren't sure if it was a joke or not haha. The taste grew on us though! 😂 In love with those maple cookies and Mr. Big too!
They were delicious! 😍
Many people call Thrills "Soap gum" , it's the strangest flavor, but as you said it does grow on you, just because it's just so different.
Im one of those weird Canadians who actually enjoys the gum lol
Who else is Canadian 🇨🇦🇨🇦 update: jeez never thought it would get 74 likes. Let’s try and get to 100. Like it up even if your not Canadian. Reply where your from

Me
Canadian here, really enjoyed this video. Nice to see people enjoy Canadian treats. Personally, Coffee Crisp is my favourite but I quite enjoy a Crispy Crunch too. You two have a new fan in me! Thank you for this video. 😊
I am
As a Canadian, I've had all of those snacks at least once in my life, and a lot of them I still eat occasionally. Canadian snacks are really good, and I do believe though we do have a lot of the same brands as the States, our recipes differ from theirs slightly and we do share similar recipes and candy with the UK. That's just what I found out from trying the American variants and a little bit a research.
Kaj Canadian ketchup is worth going to Canada to get for me! I'll have to remember some of these snacks, too.
Kaj SAMEE I agree
Canada is like a mix of the UK and USA but we also have our own originality to add to things.
Kaj I think the same as a Canadian but some of those snacks I love and some I Do not like or hate
@Kaj I was told by my boss that Canadian Hershey's chocolate is made with a different recipe than American, do you know this to be true? Word is the Canadian recipe has a better taste? Thanks!
Coffee Crisps are proof that gawd loves Canada! 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Elaine Sawchuk God* but agreed 😂😂😂
Another Coffee Crisp lover! (And the spelling was intentional 😉)
In case anyone hasn't mentioned it, it's in french and english because they're both of our official languages. Everything must be in both languages to sell in Canada :)
Coffee crisp is life
Didn't think I would like that as it was coffee flavoured but it was actually really nice! ☺️
I hate it when I was a kid but now I like them
Coffee Crisp ice cream! I can't stop!
Liz The Coffee Crisp is actually not from The Canada 🇨🇦, but The Coffee Crisp is actually and original from The UK Great Britain 🇬🇧,/ York, England 🏴 my friend 🙂😎✌️
my favorites are coffee crisp and ketchup chips but she should’ve given you the all dressed chips, they’re absolutely amazing
I am from Canada you should try beaver tail!
fun fact i was born in the town where beavertail was invented.
Those are AMAZING
omg I love beaver tail 😍
I LOVE BEAVER TAIL except I can hardly finish them because they are to big
OMG YES
I loooove the maple 🍁 cookies
Ps. I’m from Canada 🇨🇦
I'm Canadian & I was literally eating the Dare maple cookies while watching this. Lol xD
You haven’t experienced Canada until you eat these
-Beaver Tails
-Poutine
-Nanaimo bars
Canucks are asking - where are the Smarties? WUNDERBAR!! is the absolute best candy bar.
lpkay She doesn't like peanut butter so wouldn't like Wunderbar.
Smarties and Rockets if you really want to confuse them.
The UK has Canadian Smarties. I think that's where they originated actually, before making their way to Canada.
lpkay yes wunderbar and scor are my faves!
lpkay The Smarties is actually not from Canada 🇨🇦, but The Smarties is actually and original from The UK Great Britain 🇬🇧,/ York, England 🏴 my friend 🙂😎✌️
hersheys-American. Lays-American. Life Savers- American. Snickers- AMERICAN ON AND ON AND ON
You're a cultural idiot, or American for short. Lemme guess, Trump supporter. Even If American companies buy up Canadian ones our chocolate standards and recipes are different and superior. Funny how we bought up your bankrupt banks and didn't change their names in many cases.
Benjamin Wilson Mars bar-American 🇺🇸 my friend 🙂😎✌️
roof pizza shut up and get a life dude 🙂😎✌️
I’m from Canada
I think I’ve eaten all of those...
Yep I’ve eaten them all
Glad you enjoy our candy lol
Oh and here the snickers wrapper is brown too that’s just the Christmas one
Toodles
You da best
A Christmas Carol. Scrooge's transformation is always comforting.
to all who dwell in the commonwealth, cheer and happy holidays.
I'm from Canada. I am so glad they sent you some Thrills. We used to eat them as kids. It is funny that they started putting that on their packaging. We all thought it tasted like soap. LOL My favourite Christmas movie is the 1952 version of A Christmas Carol with Alastair Sim. My mom used to watch it every Christmas eve. Now I do too.
Try adding the Peeps to a cup of Hot Chocolate, so delicious! Thanks for the entertainment 😊
Linda Sisson I'm going to have to try that.
Canada is the best
_xmezaz ikr
J Can du I thought Canadians we're supposed to be nice
J Can du I guess you make a good point I'm not a fan of those Candy's but I've heard they're pretty dull
J Can du we do use high fructose corn syrup which is not very good
J Can du how did that start from a fight to a friendship. Btw as a Canadian I
Completely agree. And who can live without Swiss chalet
Watching the "try" videos of the two of you always makes me smile! It makes me wish I had a sibling just seeing y'all hangout and have a good time together! Keep up the amazing videos
No Hawkins Cheezies, alas, which are awesome! There's a number of those that I've had throughout my life but Coffee Crisp will always be a favorite.
These videos are always fun to watch.
Thrills are always the best part of videos like this!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE coffee crisp candy bars!!! I was starting to think I was the only one!!! If I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life, it would be these candy bars!! I would die with a smile on my face! Of course, I’ll have no teeth with eating so much sugar, but my happy, gummy smile will be the last thing people see of me!!! Thanks for being my coffee crisp buddy, Alex!!! With love to you both!! 💜❤️😘🐸

No one can beat the British in candy... they are the best worldwide
Wow I’m commenting this late but the reason the packaging is in both English and french is because we speak both languages here. They speak only french in Quebec and they also speak a lot of french out on the east coast. The rest of Canada is predominately English speaking but it is required to learn french in school up until the ninth grade
for mandatory french , 6th grade in Alberta an B.C, not sure about the others.
Rifk TbL we have to take it til grade 9 in Ontario
Just so you know there's also a lot of english speaking people in quebec and montreal , although the majority is french 😜
Quebec has a lot of English in it too. Also NB, ONT, SASK, have a fair amount of French. Some parts of Ontario have stronger French accents then Quebec does.
They don't speak "only French" in Quebec. And there are regions, cities and areas across the country that speak primarily French. Quebec and New Brunswick just happen to be the only two provinces that have French as a provincial legal language.
You guys are so adorable 🤗🤗 I love watching you guys 😊😊
I love coffee crisp! I would always receive a pack of five in my stocking during Christmas when I was young!
My friend brought me the maple biscuits back from Canada. They were lovely
I eat a lot of these and majority of those chocolate bars are currently in my fridge! Lol those are super classic Canadian sweets! Glad you enjoyed!!
I live in America and Mr. Big is my FAVORITE CANDY BAR! I get it whenever we go to Canada 🇨🇦!! 💜
Oh my gosh yes more of these vids
yaaay! More will definitely be coming! 😀
InTheKitchenWithKate you reply to me everytime I say something it makes my day!!! So excited!
I watched Julie's video last night and she is quite excitable but a good laugh and very entertaining!
I'm new to your channel. Only just started watching 3 days ago. I'm proud to be a Canadian as I watched you judge our food. Thanks guys for such high praise. I think we have more sweets and chocolate bars that are similar to yours hence the reason for all the love. My favourite foods are fish and chips(fries). All dressed crisps(chips), Glosett raisins, caramel anything(almost), and Kraft peanut butter on English muffin. I enjoy watching your videos. Cheers.
Seeing people react to things that are popular here is so cool! 🇨🇦
Haha I loved the space dance!!🤗
Haha, the sugar had definitely hit us 😂
That's what I love about good maple syrup - it never has a sickly sweetness to it. It's just maple-y. I'm not a huge fan of packaged cookies, but I do think those Dare maple cookies are da bomb.
We all have the same reaction to Thrills gum. Ew, tastes like soap...wait, give me more.
All those snacks are my go-to, but you're missing Hawkins Cheezies.
I live in northern British Columbia.
I have always loved those maple cookies. I might need to run out to the store and buy a box now.
I'm Canadian and my favourite cookies are maple cookies. Glad you enjoyed them 😁🍪
Here from @Feeling Peckish! It was awesome to watch your reactions to Sam and Julie's box after watching them eat you and your brothers box. Really fun! I'd love to see another collab between you guys!
"Lovely" lol 😂🤣
Those Dare cookies XD. I remember in Epcot in Disney seeing those in the Canadian Pavilion Gift Shop. I just laughed that they're in the gift shop and it's something I can buy at any Super Market.
More Canadian videos!!! ♥️♥️♥️
Those maple cookies are fantastic. I used to buy them when we lived in New Hampshire (near Canada).
Very nice video!
My favourite candy is Crispy Crunch.
Greetings from Eastern Ontario Canada.
Holiday in handcuffs is my favorite Christmas movie
My mom lives in Canada, they do have good holiday stuff. She asked me what I wanted this year for Christmas and I gave her a whole life of Christmas treats lol. Another great video.
Haha great idea!! Holiday treats are the best!! Thank you Lisa ☺️
Those thrills gum is a definite Canadian Christmas stocking stuffer 🤣 we grew up with loss of them but we call them lovingly the soap gum lol
Oh i am so happy about the thrills gum. i love thrills
Those Maple cookies/biscuits have come to the US in the fall season now: YUM!!!!
I was surprised the Coffee Crisp only got a 7, cuz that's my favorite thing you guys tried BY FAR. But it was fun to watch you try our things for the first time glad you enjoyed them!
I loved that gum as a kid and I still like it as an adult. And I love a coffee crisp. I hate coffee, but that chocolate bar is so good. But I have to say as a Canadian I love our ketchup chips; they r the best!!!!!! Glad u guys enjoyed the snacks so much!! :)

Feel like every single one of those are my favs 😂🤷♀️
But I have to admit coffee crips and ketchup chips and every maple things are the best
Mr. BIG was my favorite as a child. But the coffee crisp was second. But we also enjoyed a Scottish treat called Caramel Log yum.
Maple cookies MUST be eating with glass of milk !! Love it !
love you guys
❤️❤️❤️
As Canadians living in America, we do miss our chocolates and candies from home. The only thing that was disappointing, was that it SEEMED that the wrappers were not shown very much; as on the Japan, English, etc, candies were. The one I miss the most, is the honey comb candy, without the chocolate covering. It's crunchy, a little gooey, and most delicious! The different country's candies are very interesting. Your program is very interesting. THANK-YOU!
Coffee Crisp and Cherry Blossom are my favorite Canadian chocolate bars. I do like maple cookies as well
All time favourite Canadian snacks (which I missed terribly when I lived in the US) are All dressed chips (Ruffles brand) and Wunderbar (Cadbury)!!!
My Christmas movie is Scrooged, it's my only annual tradition. Phenomenal cast, especially Bill Murray.
I'm Canadian and I love it so much snow and moose and the kinder eggs are the best chocolate egg toy on the inside
From Canada and my fave are the green apple life savers and the maple cookies SOOOOOOO good
The Grinch that stole Christmas is my favorite along with Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer
The maple cookie are really really really good
Hi Kate I love your videos you should do more of your trying sweets from different countries I love them so much!
Hey Brooke! Thank you ☺️ Definitely want to try many more countries!
Glad we Canadians could give you great food.
Happy for ANOTHER video and especially a tasting one...YIPPEE! Here is the States we have many of those items and I always think the holiday Twix and Snickers taste even better than the normal everyday Twix and Snickers. I think I have seen those Maple cookies somewhere and if I see them again....I am definitely going to try them. You guys made them look delicious! I wish we had the Mr Big here....that looked yummy! Thanks for another awesome video. Soooo happy you guys are doing more videos. Now off to see Julie's video.
Fav. Christmas Movie: Elf....It just cracks me up!
Thrills!lol it grows on you 😊
HILARIOUS! 😆. It does taste like soap 🤢 and strangely it does grow on you....a weird childhood memory.
I got back from a holiday in Canada in May. The only snack I had out there that I didn’t really enjoy was their version of a crunchie. The life savers are by far my favourites.
I like their candy trying videos this going to be a fun colab video with Julie noka I just subscribed to her channel I like that this is a Christmas edition
Absolutely love these snacks!
We love the unified flavors of the world & melting them together :-) you can travel the world with your taste buds
