I recently bought a 6yr old family friend a Rustler 1/10 2wd truck and he’s had so much fun with it, I’m now looking into getting something. I’ve watched I dunno maybe 200 r/c truck videos in the past week and I have to say, this is one of the coolest produced r/c videos I’ve seen out of all of them. The whole idea to rip around both the real buggy and r/c buggy was sick! This makes me want to buy one NOW! Time to start saving I guess lol
I feel ya, i already have seven 1/6, one 1/4 scale, and a 1/5 scale surface RCs. I have one 1/6 scale plane and a 1/4 scale plane. Needless to say i am already pushing the limit of space
So why is the SBR 8s powered and this only 6s? I love my SBR 2.0 but while it's not lacking, I've never once thought it was over powered. SBR, SRR, DBXLE are all 8s. Why not this? Cost?
@@boduke9428it isn't all about the voltage. This could be because the motor is a higher kv, making 6s more appropriate than 8s. The upside is longer runtime - smaller cell count for same rated capacity means longer runtime, though it could be balanced out by higher kv motor. In other words, I suspect 6s to be an engineering decision rather than marketing/cost decision, but of course, it's just a guess!
@@RCTNT I love the 150a 2050kv Spektrum combo. I have it in 4 rigs. It's plenty powerful in my Fireteam and that's a healthy girl. The more I think about it I wonder if it's the tires. They're quite narrow and lighter. I'd need to see one beside a SBR 2.0 tire to know if that's reasonable. Maybe it'll work out. Maybe it's a reasonably light weight rig since there's little body. It just seems odd that their other 1/6 truck is 8s and this isn't.
I’m pretty surprised they made the Lasernut into a Super. Based on talk from the community, I don’t think the 1/10 scale sold very well, or there aren’t many fans of it. I am definitely a fan of it btw I have the 1/10 scale and I love it.
Awesome job losi as always, have a challenge for you guys, get with sparks motor sports design the bro dozer,as 1/5 35 inch 8s basher, price because license 1200
I predicting another release from Losi that doesn’t handle, doesn’t steer, under powered, and has durability issues. The RC community seems to be heading one direction, and Losi a whole other with no forethought. People have been begging for a re-release of the Losi 6ix, a larger LMT, be it 1/7 scale or 1/5 scale, and instead we get a bigger version of car that was never popular in the first place.
I like the skinnier tires, makes it look more scale than my original Lasernut. I'm hoping this is an upgraded differential compared to the TLR buggy. The 1/10 scale used same differential as the other TEN based rc cars. It was not up to the task unfortunately. I'm not a basher but ended up with a Vitavon rear differential so I could quit working on the stock parts. That said this looks wicked cool!!
Hey Losi, I've been begging for a huge new buggy. I've already had a DBXLE and it's not what i wanted. I want a new electric 5b type buggy. A huge Arrma Typhon if you will. Also a 1/5 or even 1/6 LMT would be great. Something between my current LMT and a Raminator. I love my SBR 2.0 and SRR. i want more Super's all around. A Super RZR Rey that's SBR sized would be awesome too. Just keep the prices around what all the other large scale stuff is and we'll do our part.
Been waiting 3 months on a gyro for my losi promoto mx that Horizon Hobby said was in stock when they took my money for the sale. Burned up day 1 just turning it on and you can’t run the bike without it. Car looks awesome but won’t deal with Horizon Hobby again
Bought the 1/10 version for $560 then shortly after had to rebuild all 3 diffs for a price of $300 thats $860 I spent on this piece of equipment and note I don't bash the lasernut this was the worst money pit of a rc car I have ever had , make it up losi and send me a lasernut super since I spent 860 already on the 1/10th version not to mention a battery was $150
Frame looks thin and weak like a buggy chassis, not sure how that is going to hold up on a 1/6 basher. Also I don't know of any other 1/6 vehicles coming with a wimpy 6s spektrum system. LOSI used to be a name associated with quality, performance and durability, now they are know for making expensive and non-relevant RC's, like the MT8/Lasernut/Rockrey/SBR. That being said I don't know of ANY company that didn't have quality control issues once owned by Horizon Hobby.
I dunno my 10th scale was not durable what so ever, I didn't "get what I paid for".. I guess it looks cool though, unfortunately not cool enough to risk wasting time or cash.
Videos already out of people testing theirs in very similar driving scenarios with major breaks on first battery. Control arms, shock tower bends, chassis bends. It's really too bad as I LOVE this scale direction...but it has to be somewhat durable when ate this large. Was not even withstanding driving similar to this video. For 800 dollars . Do better please
Hopefully, this is nothing like the last one that was released.Because that thing was a pile of c*** on wheels.Everything on that thing was stripped within days because of how weak the drive train was and how poor the design is.
Still hands down the most horrible name for an RC vehicle in history, and I can't help but laugh every single time that I hear it. The thing is pretty awesome though.
Well the name of the car came from the "Lasernut" business that Cody the owner of the car owns :) its a laser cutting business and supports/markets the business... does it make more sense now ?
Y'all guys going to kill it .. Don't you make one model just upgrade it don't make another big one because in 10 scale races is popular now you're going to kill it Don't just think about the money think about the future like Toyota they always have good their engines upgrade the body you just making it bigger and kill it You don't understand the future losi😊
Well damn! Looks like I’ll be adding another Losi to the stable! Looks great!
Me and you both

One of the best RC videos I’ve seen
Thanks!
Okay this is the best movie of 2024!
love it
Just when I thought I had enough RC cars. Dang, Losi! Another one knocked out of the park. I’m in

Oh hell yea!! One of the most kickass video’s I have ever viewed!
Dam !! What a killer video ... Ive never owned a Losi , this just might be my first
This thing looks like it shreds!!!! And it’s HUGE!!!
Losi is stepping up their Scale Details which is great!
This is insane! I have so many Lasernut videos on my channel. A 1/6 scale? Oh wow, that's epic! I can't wait!🔥🤩
yup, same size as our SBR 2.0
@LosiRacing what yall got planned for the SBR? *wink, wink, hint, hint, nudge, nudge?* 😊

That looks super cool! Would love to see it rip at some of my local spots. 👌
Hopefully you'll see a few in July when we ship!
This thing looks awesome!! Can't wait to get my hands on it and make a clipless setup for it like I did on the original lasernut!
on it...
That red is phenomenal looking, maybe its just me but dang!!! What a beauty
It actually looks a bit uncontrollable lol. Must be super light.
I legitimately used to think that about the first laser nut but hands down that was the most fun car I drove and the dbxl
Love my 1/10 scale. Can't wait to see it in the wild.
Super lasernut! I never saw this coming!
It was leaked over a month ago. One of the big chains listed parts for the buggy a fitting this also.
Looking pretty sick, Might have to buy one awesome videos and stay safe
Losi being Losi🔥🤷♂️
Nice release I did not see this one coming good choice on the color scheme 💪🏻
My wallet is already plotting my downfall as we speak
its alright, you can fill that back up
I would rather fill my pockets with micro t’s
Yeah a downfall to a money pit if you get this I already smell burnt diffs and the sound of broken axles
Very good cinematography.

For what its worth... out of every 10 tenacity's we sell 5/6 Lasernuts...the original production run had issues but since then people have loved them!
Love it when’s the next nascar video
This video didn’t exactly do what you wanted… I’m just drooling over the 1/1 Lasernut!!! 😅😅😅
That beast is awesome!🔥💯💣🤤
cool this Laserneut🤩, but i wish Losi make an another motorbike❗️ i love my promoto so much😁✌️
noted!
1 real supermoto, sbk bike, moto gp bike, streebike, just some idea😉✌️
i absolutely have to have one of these. my db pro is my favorite rc and you would know that from looking at it. would be glad to have a new favorite
Looks like a lot of fun😋😋😋
Oh man you got me I want this I’m ready 👍🏼
I think of “Taser Face” from Guardians of the Galaxy when I see Laser Nut! 😂
I feel Rocket saying something offensive and hilarious about laser nuts.
Time to convert it to 8s!
Agreed👊🏻 Yes this on 8s is going to be awesome
it is based on the losi 8ight, so 1/8th scale. i guess it won't like 8s power !
@@stephanez8036 curious to see if it will hold up to 8s power it’s a big rig
@@Joercgarage I bet it can hold up to a point.

Wow what a video. 👍
Ok Ok I see you Losi 😎
Its what we do!
I want to believe!
You know the marketing guy doesn’t know what King of the Hammers is when he calls it KOH land 😂
what a better title ? if we take out the land its like we are saying that we took the video during the event :)
I need this on a trailer behind my scx6.

I can't wait for the 20 you tubers who get it free to say how great it is, only to find out it's made of glass when I buy it.

Please make it more robust than the old lasernut…. The diffs and driveshafts better be good! If they are I’m sold 😊
Oh my gawd!!! 😮
EPIC
Bring back the monster energy edition
I think you sold me on the full sized one...
that one get a little more pricey :)
@LosiRacing lol, yeah, just a bit
Man the LOSI lacks the Portals... Would be sick to see one with them.
Its like the real car was a 1/1 rc!
Bingo
The fucker goes good!
I want one!
lol... this was fun to read out loud :)

A losi super that can handle!

I can't wait to buy it. When will it come to South Korea?
That up to the Korean distributor :) but they should have access to it
And to northern Korea? Asking for a friend(Kim) 😆

So a stretched truggy chassis and no tower bracing 🤔
its got longer bracing than the truggy to match! dont forget the cage helps with that too!
Hopefully they built this properly and we dont have underbuilt diffs and a wimpy drivetrain disaster like my 1/10 lasernut does.
They need to use dual shock bypass as the real ones
Where is the new DB PRO?
Tenacity Platform is certainly being looked at!
