Nice man. Don’t see why the channel hasn’t hit 6 figure subs yet. Love the data. So many people repeatedly ask the information you give. It’s clean the fb groups posts down lots to sub to this channel.

A12 cam is beast all the way. I can feel it. I was like whatever happens believe in the speed since you mentioned you couldn’t feel it on yours. My trike did 58 per gps but the Speedo said 65!!! That’s what I’ll tell everyone haha! Thanks for your videos. The a12 is an absolute thumper in just a stock 150cc. Can’t imagine what I’d be like in a 2 wheel scoot if it made the trike this beefy.

The point of not feeling it is that I have built enough race engines to know "feel" will lie to you. Very fast cars will "feel" slow if the power curve is smooth and the power is efficiently getting to the ground. Ya I would like to try the A12 also. I also want to see what the A9 is all about. I think I will test those on a different 150 I have

I’m an at such a decision debate. I like the results you got. I already have the cvt upgrade and gear up on my trike. But I saw on trs website they said their bbk (which has A12 cam) does 75mph. I cannot decide now. Maybe the a12 would be better since I have a trike. Push those big wheels better but honestly the bike does pretty good. Top speed is my goal and rule thumb is lower the number the better top end. Yet trs bbk + a12 cam has nice up top number. I don’t know if any bbk with a9 off hand. As I type I realize maybe I could compare and guesstimate what a stock gy6 could do. What you think?

75 would be awesome. I don't know much about which cam to use. That one I used came in the Taida BBK from rolling wrench.

Also. I wasn’t sure but on the tensioner did you say you physically held the screw with vise grips so it wouldn’t come fully loose? Some videos I believe just pulled it out an let the chain hang out the head.

If I pull the plastics off then I just take the whole tensioner out. But can't pull the 2 bolts with the plastic on so I just used a screwdriver. I have that tool somewhere. I just threw vice grips on the screwdriver so it wouldn't spin back on its own.

I noted trs did head bolt nuts at 7ftlb, so did ncy store in their video then roll wrench did 16ftlb. Then you did 13.5. I bought the a12 from trs since I have a trike. Fig that would be best for pushing my heavier 2 wheel rear end. What was your thought process on your torque spec?

The "manual" I found online somewhere...? Said 13.2 to.16.2'lbs A forum comment from a guy who does a lot rebuilds on GY6s said do not exceed 13.5' lbs as he has striped threads at higher torqued before. So I just used the 13.5 and figured it was still in spec.

Where did you buy the taida t100, do you have any online purchase recommendations that can ship worldwide?

I got it from Rolling Wrench. Not sure who ships world wide. Taida is Taiwanese so they should be available anywhere
