Most of the time saved came from demo dash, a new tech to dash in crouched state to reduce our hitbox, allowing us to pass through some obstacles.

@@JB-nl3xy Just from 100%ing A-side, I have 10k. Also, I got more deaths in chapter 3 (somewhere around 2k) than I did in chapter 7, just from trying to beat it without 100%ing it.
I got through the first 8 chapters with “800” deaths exact

Actually the TAS should be proud. It died once in stage 4 while not touching any hazard and holding a key in order to save a few frames. Whenever I die, its because I'm stupid and blind and couldn't play a game if I had a robot moving my fingers for me.

fun(?) fact: this game used to have a speed limit of approximately 5000 speeds (there's no unit name so i just call it speeds). reaching this speed would crash the game
RichConnerGMN What we need is madeline’s canon height, then we can measure how fast she’s going in a usable unit like m/s
What we first need to know is how fast a speed is and have some comparisons so we can at least begin to estimate her movement speed. Her height is probably between 1 and 2 meters.

The only thing left to do with the TAS runs of Celeste is to utterly destroy 114%
which, to be honest, will probably not happen for a long time.
I know ARB has been done a few times, as well as All Chapters
The problem with 114%, as far as I know, isn't a lack of ability or time, it's just that it'd be boring and repetitive because of having to go back for golden strawberries.

sequel of celeste but it’s theos POV and you see his journey through the mountain with Madeline. He’s ability is a momentum canceling bubble, similar to madelines dash into crystal pick up momentum thing.
