Actually the TAS should be proud. It died once in stage 4 while not touching any hazard and holding a key in order to save a few frames. Whenever I die, its because I'm stupid and blind and couldn't play a game if I had a robot moving my fingers for me.

Yeah I was honestly bummed, because I mainly watched this to see if you could demodash after finding Theo in his crystal to skip the whole Search section.
The only thing left to do with the TAS runs of Celeste is to utterly destroy 114% which, to be honest, will probably not happen for a long time. I know ARB has been done a few times, as well as All Chapters
The problem with 114%, as far as I know, isn't a lack of ability or time, it's just that it'd be boring and repetitive because of having to go back for golden strawberries.

Huh?!? I just found this game yesterday so I thought I'd check how others are playing. Why are you not only touching enemies (spikes/blobs/etc), but even fly THROUGH them?!? Is it a game mechanic I haven't yet unlocked? (I'm at chapter 2)
@@sander_bouwhuis It's a glitch called demodashing, which lets you dash with a crouching hitbox, which in several cases is a small enough hitbox to pass between the hitboxes of segments of those death walls. They are humanly possible, but it's a pixel-perfect glitch, and so only one demodash is used by humans in Any% (the one at 7:03 in this video) because it saves about 15 seconds.

Sander Bouwhuis the bot skipped the cutscene. normally it would take a second or two for a human to open up the menu then scroll down to “skip cutscene” but since this is a programmed but, the actions occur within fractions of a second so that’s why it was hard to see what was happening since it was so fast
@@pistonnbnz you weren't able to when this was made, they patched that in after a bit of discussion with and among the community when a glitch was discovered that allowed that cutscene to be skipped.
