The D-sides are a custom map pack for Celeste (think Kaizo maps). They are a lot more difficult than regular Celeste, and some sections are very precise.
This is a TAS of all of them. It's taken about 6 months to prepare, and huge thanks to Fishmcmuffins and Euniverse for helping with various levels/strats. I'm glad that it's finally out, and hope it is enjoyable.

Explanation: each frame, the game moves the block, then checks Madeline's action, then checks to see if she should die. By the time she should have died, she's already started moving away from the spikes.

A-sides: A beautiful game disguised as a simple platformer that eloquently and candidly talks about confronting, not running from, mental illness ,and, not overcoming but working together with it, with a fantastic soundtrack complementing everything.

Chapter 6 Heart being called "Heya" made me chuckle.
The song that plays in the background for the Badeline fight has chanting that sounds like “heya”. It’s more apparent in the original version than in the remix

The lava and ice walls kill you if the hitboxes of madeline and the wall overlay.
If you are in range of the wall without being in the wall, it simply acts as if it was a normal wall...
However, as a human it's pretty hard to control your movement enough to not get one pixel off where you want to be. It's possible but not very reliable enough. Also there are not a ton of places, chapters etc. where you can you this mechanic (apart from core and reflection D-sides)

It's been about 8-9 months since I've done the D-sides, but 7D went over a MASSIVE overhaul, did it not? I remember a whole different set of shitty screens, particularly in 3000M.
May have to give it another go once I get have my fun on Farewell and want to get back to other levels. Love this TAS
Yep, there was a big change (it got wayyyyy harder). I would say wait for the 9D release if you can, I think some other levels are getting reworks as well.

I like how the first 3 D Sides are pretty challenging but playable and then you get to Golden Ridge D Side.

Yup, that's correct! Fortunately it's possible to cheese it like shown in the video (human speedrunners do it the same)
