    One thing I really like when listening to ATC is when they those little "Auf wiedersehn" or "Arivederci" when talking to a foreign crew. I guess it makes you feel a little better when you know they take the time to wish you well in your native language :)

    Since I saw the Captain here saying „Hier kommen die Flight Controls“ I always say it like that in X-Plane when I do the flight controls 😅

    There is also a full video of this same crew landing at Seattle here on UA-cam. That is absolutely amazing.
    Even the most armchair bound landlubbers will streak to the nearest pilot school and enrol.

    Einen Flugschein als Verkehrsflieger zu machen würde bei mir schon daran scheitern, dass ich das Kauderwelsch des Funkverkehrs kaum verstehen kann, besonders wenn das Personal im Tower schnell spricht und die Funkverbindung vielleicht auch nicht optimal ist.

      Habe die PilotsEye DVD wo sie nach Los Angeles fliegen und da beschreibt der Kapitän (Wölfle) dass es an einigen Flughäfen in der Tat schwieriger ist zu funken als hinzufliegen. Bspw New York, Boston, Chicago... Naja die ganzen Großflughäfen in den USA. Die Lotsen sprechen sehr schnell sehr viel und du kannst nicht groß nachfragen, weil wenn du da nix merken kannst, kriegt die Airline einen schlechten Ruf

    At 3:39 pilot should put the engine mod selector to normal but it is still on start ...

    • @tomstravels520
      @tomstravels520 4 роки тому +1

      Skyor it is in some airlines policy to leave engine start switch on if expecting heavy rain or turbulence after takeoff

    Can somebody tell the taxi instructions please? I didn’t understand thx

    • @AviationHubOfficial
      @AviationHubOfficial  6 років тому

      Each taxiway is given a letter, in this case - B (bravo) so they were told to taxi to RWY16L via Bravo, she also asked them to verify the "ATIS" (usually called "information") - which is a summaryof the current weather conditions broadcast every 30 mins and is also given a letter (in this case, F - foxtrot). The information probably just changed (would have just been E -echo) and she wanted to make sure they had the correct weather hence "verify information Foxtrot". Hope that makes sense.

    I want to be a pilot so bad but idk if I’ll be able to pay for my training😪

    • @AviationHubOfficial
      @AviationHubOfficial  6 років тому +1

      Do some research on loans and pilot mortgages. Very few cadets pay the money up front with their own cash - and if they did it was the bank of mum & dad. There are options out there, remember the industry NEEDS pilots so bad right now. If you *really* want it; you'll find a way :)

    Wieso sagen die immer heavy?

    • @AviationHubOfficial
      @AviationHubOfficial  6 років тому +1

      Die Piloten müssen bei Funkrufen "heavy" sagen, weil das Flugzeug so groß ist, dass es Wachturbulenzen ein paar Meilen hinterlässt, so dass die Flugzeuge, die später abfliegen, länger warten müssen, damit sie nicht durchfliegen.
