Darn it, I ordered the mobula 6, might have been a better choice to get this one. I saw somewhere that you can get a crossfire version, which i would get, I know it’s still not going to get really far, but it’d still be better, match up to my jumper t16 . Recently got the diatone gtr349 and crossfire receiver, what a difference over my older spektrum DX6e.
Nice video Justin, get your hands on the Mobula 6 25K model same power but 3 grams lighter so it can freestyle outdoors a lot better with slightly longer flight times. John from Chicago
Its a very interesting video but as I'm new to FPV, i don't understand everything: I got a new Beta FPV LiteRadio 2 SE and I cant Bind it to my Betafpv meteor65-lite-brushless: Please I need help: if someone have seen a video on this matter please let me know. Please can you upload a video. Many thanks
I think it would debatable about the Meteor being the King of Whoops. I had one & out of the box it flew like crap, never did get it to fly right. From the chatter on YT & the forums I think the Mobula6 is a better whoop. Don’t have the Mobula6 so I can’t say for sure.
Great review not sure if your aware but probably so there are two great Whoops for this Winter Season. Would be great if you could do a comparison of the Meteor 65 compared to the Mobula 6 which I personally think is better. If you think the Meteor 65 is good you really need to check out the Mobula 6. It's lighter, has a much better camera and faster motors. It also has the first AIO board with integrated VTX.
Hey Justin. Where do you rank this in the scheme of things with BetaFPV? I'm having a hard time deciding on a small quad like this to fly indoors and outside. I'm looking at the Beta65X V2, the Beta85 Pro 2, and the Meteor65/75. That's my real choice at the moment due to stock levels. I could get the trashcan or mobuls7, but am put off of those because of the quality issues on the flight controllers, especially the 5v regulators popping. I'm thinking 2S would be better, which is why I didn't initially look at the meteor series. I'm a beginner quad pilot, I usually fly fixed wing. However, when I fly my 5", I prefer 4S over 3S because of the extra control you get, and the ability to pull the quad straight is better. Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks.
Can't wait to try one, but I just got the eachine novice 1. With a GNB 520/1s battery I'm getting over 5 MINUTES!!! Also ordered the OG tinyhawk, again, all about longer flight times.
I bought the Bayang starter kit a few months ago. I loved it so much that I upgraded to the meteor 75 W/ the BT2.0 connector.. I can't get enough fly time anymore. I love that whoop!
@@DOHCtorMiguel I saw in another video that the older models of the 75 where better, and the new one being made a worse for some reason. The break easier he said, have you had any problems with breaking it from crashes?
@@user-jq2hr4ep7v Never broke the frame but I did have to replace the motors here and there and the vtx but as many times as I crashed as I was starting out I wasn't surprised.
j boii I bought one and I regret it. The flight time really sucks I was often getting only 1 minute indoors. The options for buying other batteries are not really there. The tune on mine was sloppy feeling and dshot was set incorrectly to dshot600. To go all in on this $110 quad, buy all new batts, adapters, spare props (you get none), is really expensive and not worth it imho.
Nice one JD 🤘looks like a good lil rig, those 300mah are useless imo. I need the 450-550mah batteries for a decent flight on my trashcan or Novice1. I bought 5 of those BT2 connectors to test for the trashcan but I haven't soldered them on yet. Haha disappearing osd! Ok then 🤔
You found the tree because you were flying at a disc golf course. Those trees are cursed and hate things that fly!
😂😂😂
voltage sag is awful
Yes

Crossfire is legit.

HappyModel dropped the ball by not sending me one. I’m not hurt about it. But Ive heard good things yeah.

Suggestion of a cheap transmitter and goggle for this, that could be used later with better quads. Looking to buy for a school
Brant Churchill jumper t16 and each ev800d. Neither break the bank and jumper t16 can be used with almost envy protocol and the av800d has diversity
GET SOME!!!!!
ive heard many many great thing about this...my next whoop for sure!!
I need a good 1s whoop in my life !!!
Great Review!!!!!!
I’ve subscribed and looking forward to your future work!
Dude I said shite at the same time 🤣 where's my UK brethren at? 😂
🤣🤣🤣 I’m Welsh Irish don’t tell anyone !
is it possible i use a different battery which can give me long flight times
My OSD just "went missing" on my 12amp betafpv whoop board.
Yours came back? This just happened.
I tested auto/pal/ntsc settings in bf.

Well see soon I hope. I’ll compare the two here.
@@dronecamps mobula 6 is definitely the king at 65mm.

Betafpv 65x v2. For sure or the 85 Pro 2
Drone Camps RC Thanks Justin.
Love the intro!!
this or emax tinyhawk 2 whoop?

Nice! Later you’ll want more speed.
Looks like 2s. Fast 1s whoop. Cool video.
I want to get it
Meteor65 or uz65?
Lmao these 65mm whoops are all the rage now.
Yes
Watching it now, thanks for your reviews!
You are welcome my friend.
I bought the Bayang starter kit a few months ago.
I loved it so much that I upgraded to the meteor 75 W/ the BT2.0 connector..
I can't get enough fly time anymore. I love that whoop!
I’ve watched you develop a technique for your videos and it’s impressive!
🙂
"in some parts of the UK they might call it "shite"" LMAOOOO
I got a FRSKY FCC, can it be converted to crossfire? I think is better, isn't?
Did it come with. An headset or did you purchase it separately
Amazing power loop
I’ve never done such a big power loop with a whoop. I was impressed
Wish there was a small RunCam Eagle Pro. I have that one on my taycan, and its so clear and sharp.
Nice lil kwad
Oh man. You did some nice hard moves. I thought you ran into that tree on purpose till you said that. I thought you lost radio control of the quad. 👍
Sweet Justin .. thnx bro
Dose it fly in Altitude Hold or Stable Mode. Thanks.
Stable mode yes
Isn’t that frame the pre production model?
Might explaining the flaking
Great video. I just purchased the Meteor 65 HD. I also have the Meteor 75. Would I be able to use my 450mAh on the 65 instead of the 300Ah
Which drone do you think is the best?
@@user-jq2hr4ep7v I personally loved the 75 more. Longer flight time and more agile.

Do you know if you can do the 48kh or whatever the trend is to gain fight time?
Yes
Drone Camps RC have you don’t it on yours and any improvement on time? Curious because I want to get one but flight time kinda scares me lol

I've got the acro version it has slightly less motor power but I'm getting 4 mins of good flight time
