CAGR -Annualized Return is 8.21%
So the message I should take from this video is - Just patience and discipline is not enough for mutual investing. Periodic rebalancing between equity and debt is also required.
Also, one nears the goal, the equity component should be gradually reduced. Am I correct?
Kind request sir vedic length below 10 minutes, it Will reach many people to see your videos

It is impossible to calculate the XIRR for covered call for compounding
Sir, thanks to this video. This have brought me back a very long pending doubt. I`m sure many will have the same. Please provide some insights on what could be an ideal time in years (or stock price appreciation %) that we can do the rebalance of that stock like take the profit and put that in PPF etc ? Particularly if the stock have given absolute returns of our goal in few years than we anticipated. And also vice versa.
I know it will depend on person to person based on their goal or appreciation % or profit taking trigger number from that stock, but as you said during a sideways the # of year will obviously bring the XIRR down, so how to tackle this situation. So if you could address this situation in your next video on rebalancing, it will be helpful. It has been a long time pending question that i would love to know/hear from you from an ideal perspective.
Sir,
is it 8.2104%, please let me know is my understanding correct?
Check Japan index and europ ines last 20 Year is side way. That is why Japan and swiss having negative interest
that is why we need take leverage 3X to 4X in covered call option trading in index and may increase your return more then 14% for 20 Year
wow, excellent explanation. Thanks sir
You says about the problem now whats the solution for it is a portfolio rebalancing. iam i understood it correctly.
Really like your speech sir.
Sensex consists of stocks which are PSUs. I assume PSUs are dragging the index, what if someone invested in HDFC or TCS for the same period?!
Sir, நீங்க சொல்வது ரொம்ப 100% correct.

Only 8.21% CAGR. I think less as compare to EPF and PPF return in last 25years.

Thank you so much sir. I thought of investing passive funds S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 for long term. Its looks like same as nifty. Then where we need to invest? Athuku pesama PPF or Fixed deposit poirulam pola. Atleast money will be safe
Try NIFTY NEXT 50 or NIFTY NEXT 50 Equal weighted fund if you have a longer horizon for your investment/goals!
Check out Pattu sir's previous videos on the same....

Hello sir,
You said 8.2% annualized return. But you haven't considered the dividends which have paid during that period. Especially before 2017, no LTCG was there. So if you include the dividends, then extra 2% return can be made, close to 10℅(post Tax return) that is sweet.
You have completely missed the point of the post. Sweet indeed
@@pattufreefincal I could understand sir that time is money. And we have to constantly monitor our portfolio. Just I am telling the return in that period you have calculated doesn't include the dividends. Thats it. I am sorry sir for pinpointing you . Correct me if I am wrong.
