Sir I am planning to self contribute 50k alone under NPS section 80CCD(1B) based on market fall condition. Even though my employer has option of NPS, I am choosing VPF to contribute monthly. Is this a good decision?

i agree sir, but if i invest 44000 i could save 22000 from my tax (as per my income), around 50% tax saving and 20% even if i get out of it before 60; if i continue i will get at least 3 times my money at the age of 60.

    Hi Sir,
How about the private sector people?
Is it good to invest in NPS?
I believe for govt, 40% employee and 60% by employer, so they can do..
But for private it's 100% we need to pay.
    So pls suggest on that..

Sir if NPS is like mutual funds only then, how they are able to give Compounding interest in calculation as per their website ? Because you said in your mutual funds videos that interest calculation in MF is weighted average over a period of time and is practically not possible to calculate interest for MF in ups and downs market (which i understood).
    Also in your other video:
You are asking to TREAT NPS not like a Equity/Market linked investment of 60% but treat it like a PPF/EPF fixed type income (40%). So in that video you mentioned NPS does operate like a mutual fund. So this conflict in view points in TWO video is confusing!!!
