You can make your own gorgeously beaded ornament just like the Huichol of Mexico. This kit contains everything you need to complete this project including:
    -egg form
    -beads
    -wax/pine pitch adhesive

My passion is anthropological studies of the symbols of the Ancient American Southwest. I explore ancestral caves, cliff dwellings, and sacred sites learning the context of pictographs and petroglyphs created there by ancient inhabitants. An extension of this is practicing an art form created by the Huichol natives of Mexico. They fled from oppressors in their homeland, the plains of Mexico, into the mountains, where they were left to keep their ancient customs thriving. They have evolved this colorful, commercial form of art from deep spiritual practices creating prayer mats and prayer bowls. I honor the sacred history of this craft and revel in the playfulness of its modern form.

LOVE the video! I am working on my first project, a gourd bowl. Your work is beautiful and love the pine needle matt, another art form I do, we have the long leaf pine needles here. Thanks again- great instructions

Beautiful. I really want to try this. If you have tim could you make a beginning tutorial explaining a little history, and explain about supplies ?? Bead type, wax kind or brand. How does it stay permanent? Thank you so much. Your egg is stunning🥰🌸

Traditionally they use a long thin wire or long thin needle to put lots of beads on to inay making it much easier to do just wanted to share that with you cause I see your doing it differently wasn't sure if your just comfortable with that or didn't know the long wire needle that's usealy used. But great video

I made a tool needle in clasp for micro screwdriver, it works fine i take up to 15 beads on it. I think wire could do so, but i never test it. It could be nice, if you got your colors on few wires, and change it fast like colour pen

I know sometimes I watch videos and either someone might not be aware of it or they just found another way they like . I like having the different wires to put different colors on when I do a lot of the gourds type one, but it is always nice to see others creations and how they do their work. I admire artist your work is gourgous@@marcosfunky
