    Thank you so much for making this video. It seems so complex until you made this tutorial you’re a great teacher!

    Hey I mentioned all of this in our little discussion on the pocket operators facebook group, but I definitely appreciate sorts of videos. I have so many drum machines that I can't remember forever how to program each one. So it's good that this exists and that I can always come back to it when I need a refresher. I also really appreciate the pacing. Even though the PO-12 is really simple, I like that you take your time and explain everything slowly. Often times I'm doing other things while I'm watching these tutorials and I hate having to pause and rewind to watch things 2 or 3 times because the person making the video pressed 4 buttons at once and I didn't quite catch exactly what the button combo is. I'm definitely looking forward to the tutorials on all the rest!

      Thanks man, And yeah, the next one the SUB, already recorder, not edited I will add a visual indication of what i am holding and pressing, so it will be longer to produce but it will give that feedback so you don;t have to paus and "rewind" Love that word "rewind" it doesn't make sense anymore, but people still using it. Like film....there no more film, everything is digital now.

    Many thanks for the excellent tutorial. BTW there is a "metronom" implemented - the sync signal. You can switch it on and off by pressing funct + bpm changing the sync mode.

    Nice video. Will get mine out. Iirc you can get a metronome going in one channel with some combo of the top three buttons. Cheers.

    Stupid question, but once I have recorded the 16 patterns that might but consider as part of a whole song. It is not possible to create another song with 16 other patterns ? If I like my creation and I want to keep it, I need to buy another PO12 ?

    I cant seem to audition sounds. I tapped the sound button then tried the 1-16 buttons and they just light up like they are adding beats to a pattern rather than voicing when I press the button.

      turns out the correct button to use to swap between "write" and "audition" mode is the "write" button. Go figure!

    I bought 3 of these(PO-12 PO-20 PO-33) and all 3 of them were defective(knobs/buttons). I'm sure if they worked properly, they would be great. But they didn't.
    It took about 2 weeks of back and forth with customer service before they finally accepted it. It was so unprofessional it felt like they were trying to scam me. Doubting my claims
    I go online to check my problem. Common known QA issue, yet they acted like it never happens.
    I'll never buy TE anything. 👍for the tutorial though

    • @XNBeatsMusic
      @XNBeatsMusic  Рік тому +1

      hmm, well my experience with TE is rather new, so i don't know how they handled in the past or present, because so far I never had an issue. Still, good comment, this channel is not about about brands is about music, like music is about opening minds not government, cultural or religious inclination.
      You will never see me endorsing a brand without me letting you know, that is actually why I started this channel. I got tired of paid youtubers praising something. I understand they took the money, but lying to other musicians is way low.
      Either way, MY experience with TE was good, so far. It sucks when you go back and forward with defective gear, been there before

      i have the complete oposite experience . only thing that has damaged is a speaker on my op 1 but ! nothing much
