Just listened in on Brian giving the names of the just born calves. One was given the name of Jackson. That’s my grandsons name. He’s two and a half. He’d loved to think one had his name. We sometimes watch your videos together. He loves the big tractors and seeing the cows and calves. I’ll play this video first him to hear his name. I know it wasn’t named for him but he doesn’t know that. I’ll know he’ll be excited. Thanx for naming one Jackson. That will make his day! How cool!

It always amazes me how curious cows are! Love watching them run, jump and buck around in the yard. Clearly happy!

Brian, we see how you care for your livestock. Working in all kinds of weather, blocking the wind and putting down bedding before a storm, using medicines to ward off disease, cleaning pens, and all the care you put into feeding and calving. Add the fact that you have developed a herd of exceptional quality cattle. It is easy to compliment you, you earned it.
Brian I don't know how you would get along without your boy. I am sure you appreciate him so much. Not only is he a nice young man. He is a very hard worker. You guys have a hard job.

Brian, you're admired by any good stockman. The proof is always in the pudding (cattle) and yours are in prime condition and as I watch the ration make up of your feeding program... you spare no expense and it shows, even your cows are slick and in good condition.

I really enjoy this channel because they actually farm. They don’t plant for a month and harvest for a month and spend the rest of the year working on equipment. Keep up the great work guys,

Hi guys, I've been watching your videos for several years now & really enjoy all of them. I started out my farming "career" a long time ago working for a neighbor then bought my own farm & had it for 43 yrs & just sold it last fall. Farming was up & down financially as I'm sure you know but overall gave my family & I a very good living. I was getting to the fact that over the years I've seen alot of herds of cattle and must say what I can see of your livestock through your lens it's one of the best, if not the best looking I've ever seen ! I'm sure you don't hide anything from us so congratulations for what you've got. Sorry for writing a novel ! lol

Those "Claves" are doing extremely well my goodness where did the babies go?. Thriving like mushrooms , your cows are not only great Beef machines but good milkers, not an easy balance to get right !

The warm weather seems to have those cows in a playful mood. Looks like they enjoy playing chicken with the equipment.
It really upsets me when people say farmers & ranchers don't care for their livestock. I remember seeing a video of husband & wife dairy farmers having to sell out. The day of the auction they were both in tears because their cows were so upset & stressed because of all the people at the sale. All their cattle had names. I also remember a video where you guys lost a calf & you could tell it really bothered you guys, & not for monetary reasons either. So nobody needs to say you guys don't care. You guys do a great job. Love the videos.

Another year another group of good lookin calves. Animal husbandry on Sonne Farms is top shelf from keeping pens clean to animal health. Also it's great to see someone taking pride in their farm not a bunch of junk laying around etc. I have driven by your place and it's just a very clean outfit.

My dad Bob just died of cancer he never got to see my small cattle operation I run Hereford cows with angus cows. I would you to name a bull calf after my dad. I love your channel and I watch every night. If you don’t I will always continue to watch your channel
Nice looking batch of calves. I hate to but have to take down payments on my butchers. Got screwed once. A guy backed out literally at last minute. Most folks understand the down payment. I miss when a handshake was good enough. Just getting old I guess.

I feel better after watching both of you in each episode. The Calfs look healthy and should after the you take care of them. You are both Great Americans, love the way you work together. Loss my father to Cancer when I was 14 and after graduating high school had a couple great stand in aka mentors after being drafted into the Army @18 years old. You grew up pettery fast durning those two years. Thank God there are ranches & farms still working hard across this country. If our government will keep its noise out of all your business you will do better and out of proxy wars we all do better. I was told by our preacher back 50 or so years ago to always shake someone's hand if they offer it to you. So I was working on my car and my hands were very oily , well he stuck his hand out I looked and shook his hand. My dad was upset with me until the preacher told him what he told me.
