Mike, you have done more than the average person could, your vision is taking shape everyday, just remember this is your property, your vision, your goal for the family.just keep doing what you do best.be safe.😎😎😎👍👍👍
You have to have a pretty tough skin to be a UA-camr. People like me to armchair quarterbacks. Keep up the good job dude
Appreciate ya watching Tom
There are homestead channels, equipment channels, project channels, car channels, fabrication channels. In your channel - every day is a special treat. One never knows what one will see.
Lol. You got that right! That is what makes this one more interesting.
Thank you for the kind words!
It will look awesome when the natural foliage starts to grow back. Your Wife and yourself seem to have a great eye and the skill to go with it!
Thanks!
A decent multi-tasker, major understatement Captain. I can definitely see your vision now, that pond is going to be larger than I originally thought. Stay safe Captain.
You are the definition of multitasking! Love your plan.
Keep in mind he is not only doing this also full-time firefighter full-time husband and full-time father.
One time I didn’t have that energy before I got sick just about his age I was
So true sir. He is what my Mom would call a real keeper!
Thanks and definitely appreciate ya leaving a comment!
That looks good so far. The 304 is a blessing with it's speed. Stay safe
Definitely appreciative to have access to it
I like your plan, going to be an awesome place to escape with a cup of coffee in early morning just get tuned up for the day. This project will be a great feature in the future for your property. Thanks for the update, enjoyed watching.
Definitely an awesome get away
Loads of mosquitos most likely.
Love the blue Mike! Be careful out there Captain!
What blue? I didn’t see any blue dump truck. LOL
@@sassafrasvalley1939
I saw blue..... 😮
A blue tee shirt 😂
@@alexosborne5629 me too! And that was the only thing… I swear! 🤓

Speculate to accumulate !!!
Producing top quality content to provide funding for your top quality projects !!
You always come up with a plan between The Admiral and yourself to make your slice of the world that much better...... keep on doing what you do, Captain !!! 💪💪💪
Exactly! Great way to put it. Appreciate ya watching!
Thank you for sharing, another day who start very well with you and your project, always a good moment follow you 👍👍👍👍
Appreciate ya watching!
Good morning Mike!
Cool plan in the swimming pond with the salt chlorine system. It makes a lot of sense to capture the best of both worlds.
Thanks!
Another step accomplished, awesome job Captain 👏 I absolutely love what you're doing. I can hardly wait to see what is next. Thank you for sharing 👌 😊
Thanks for watching!
Sounds like you got a good plan sir!
Hope so! Appreciate the comment
Excellent work Captain Keep doing your thing It's all going to be brilliant !!
Really liking the CCC vibe. The “natural” little pool in the woods with a modern filtration system is ingenious. Hat tip to you sir for bringing a smile to the Admiral’s face. Keep pursuing your visions. I chuckle every time I read an ‘armchair quarterback’s’ commentary on your method or work, knowing they are contributing to your success. Keep the comment generator greased and fueled!😂
Thank you and appreciate the comment! Always loved the CCC work at parks.
Great video thanks for bringing us along
Hey thanks for watching!
Nice job sir Nice yard good show 😃👏👏👏👍👍👍👍
Pretty neat, going to be a great place to explore and visit!!🤗🇺🇸
Good morning sunshine! The best way to start my day is a video from you! I can't wait to see what all you get into today! Much love from Henderson Ga USA
Right, you are Mike makes my day. As always excellent video. Thank you, Mike. From NE TN. .
Hey appreciate ya always watching!
@@CaptainKleeman of course I wouldn't miss it for the world! You make my day better! Much love from Henderson Ga USA
This will be amazing Mike
Thanks!
the challenge of the leaves this fall. well keep the girls busy busy
There is a thing called netting 😊
Being shaded, the water will be cold and my guess the pool will not be used in the fall.
I don't ask people to clean up the mess I make lol. I'm clever enough to make it not a problem
I have a backhoe with a 12’ snow pusher blade! It’s a 1987 Case 8750. 4wd diesel for sale 10000 takes the whole thing! It’s had a bunch of work done to it? Rebuilt cylinders and new batteries last year! It has a front clam bucket. Runs like a top! Pretty much everything works! Just needs a little floor work but has new doors! I am in Rochester New York! Just thought I would throw it out there!
Ya know mike if traction is a problem get a backhoe bucket full and use that as counter weight and if its not quite enough then extend the bucket out behind you some. You would need to make sure your not going to hit anything with the extended backhoe as you maneuver but of course the farther out you reach the more weight on the drive wheels
Stan
Wouldn't help here. But thanks!
Captain great content and video! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
Thanks for commenting Kevin!
Something about that backhoe and my coffee in the morning, awesome work there Captain!!
Thank you!
Clint from C&C gave your channel a nice shout-out on his livestream yesterday!
Oh that's awesome! They are a great group for sure.
Mike I have a set of chains for the Ford that you are welcome to if you are ever in PA and can pick them up. Would reduce the slipping and sliding.
Hi Mike & it's is Randy and i like yours video is Cool & Thanks Mike & Friends Randy
Thanks randy!
Mike, a shared story from a subscriber: i fought a salt water pool for several years. I found it way more work than competing systems. Hope you have better luck
Appreciate the info, and thanks for watching!
The why: What the Admiral wants, the Admiral gets 😊
16:36 You should buy one of the machines from Andrew Camarata. His machines are always fixed up and ready to run.❤
17:03 If you extend the digging bucket, you might get more force pushing down on the back wheels, maybe enough to get traction to go up the hill backwards.
Ok, maybe it didn't work as well I had hooked in your next video. :-(
you might want to come up with some kind of cover to keep the leaves out in the fall
Yup, I have a few ideas rattling around.
I liked this. So I subscribed. Thanks, man.
Looks like Mike is going to have to bush and repin the coupler on the mini excavator
Have you thought of a name for the UA-cam yacht? I might have one for you, the S.S. Minno. You can tell them you kept the W for yourself for finishing the project. When they ask about the Gilligan's Island reference, you can tell them it was quite your own adventure getting there. ;)
🤣
Hi Mike. That sucks about getting the bed sold out from under you. Is there a local welding school or something similar that might want a challenging project to work on? If you don't need the bed until the fall, that might be enough time for students to finish the repairs. Just a thought. The plunge pool is shaping up nice. You had me worried with how the old 555 was edging off that little ledge! The backhoe came through again though.
Question do you have a Master cut of showing the build of the UA-cam house 🏠 🤔 ???
If you make it Bigger you can put in a slide 🛝 !!!
Mike says "multitasking", I call it squirrelling! How are you still in one piece with all the sketchy stuff you do??? Still, I absolutely love the channel and can't wait for the next episode.
Appreciate ya watching!
I used to run a triple nickel and sticking out the boom would provide enough weight to get traction !
Negative.
Great video ! I watch a lot of UA-cam videos , I have moved you to my #1 most loved channel. Surpassing Let's Dig 18 ...... lol. Thanks for your hard work. Hopefully you will be full-time UA-cam before long !
I won't tell him you said that lol. Appreciate the comment!
Power for the filter, etc... in the woods? Generator?
Ask Jesse Mueller about the natural pond. He built one on his homestead
Wheel weights, tire chains, new tires, rock on the ground or something could make it better.
Yup, unless you're buying, imma keep doing what Im doing.
How are going to power the pump and salt chlorine generator? It will need to run several hours a day. We've had pools under tree canopy and it keeps the water cool but there is ALOT more junk that needs to be cleaned out.
I have a few ideas. Will have to see what works best
Can you put a quick connect on your backhoe
On the back of it
Thanks 👍
Thanks for leaving a comment!
I built my own pool out of concrete wire an old pool ring an a tarp. My old irrigation pump could fill in 20 minutes. No pool pump I had to drain an scrub every week an a half..Good luck
👍
Does DP charge you or do you get it in trade! And you are one patient person! Are you going to cote the liner with grout?
Charge
👍👍👍
💪
Do you have or can you borrow a set of chains for those rear tires big big daddy?
Chains would be nice. I may try and make my own at some point.
👍
💪
How are you going to keep all the leaves etc out of the pool?
Anti gravity device.
@@CaptainKleemanOf course,what was I thinking.🙂
Our intrepid Captain definitely has the Chain of Command straight.
A happy Admiral (wife) is happy life.
They tend to get a little snappy when us lower ranks fail in our duties.
In my case, mine is Latina with the stereotypical temper to matchso I attempt to keep the peace by making sure I follow her commands, for the most part anyways.
Being male I do have a tendency to be a tad forgetful and that's why I always have a little something I know she loves hidden to give her to calm her down.
The art of being a happy hubby.
Extend the hoe out for weight and traction brother! Steep stuff my friend! I know it’s hard for us to see, Mike! But I can imagine it is!
Hey Captain Kleeman, you know there will come a point were you have to full stop the digging. so that the admiral could check the geology rocks.? 👈😒🚬👺👀👀👍
You aren't wrong
Mike I’m a city guy. So my question to you is aren’t snakes, turtles, and other creatures going to enjoy all your hard work?
They live in the city as well lol.
@@CaptainKleeman not in my pool. lol.
🤗❤️👍
💪
When you do your time lapse need some music similar to DP but not the lone ranger being how you doing the boat maybe Popeye or have MBHTS out for a day and play 3 stooges theme in background 😂😂😂 get more sub make your Admiral happy
Yeah if gets out of hand turn into a minion pond cheap easy home grown fishing bait
🤣
😛😛😛😛😛😛❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
No deposit needed, means he is hoping to get more from someone else.
Most likely.
Sure is an awful nice video. Rekon when I get out of prison fixin to pay yew a visit
Not much honor in the dump truck bed business. Who would have guessed that?
How do people operate that way….make a deal then sell it out from underneath you. Probably live their whole lives that way, screwing one person after another. Have a little integrity, it isn’t that hard!
Well, I am watching you and committed - but I think it's time to trade or give-away to a You Tuber your 555 that has the one job usages for it. It is hard to watch. Then get what you can use for your property. Don't take me for a hater - I give you commercial time for payment. Retired FF in Arkansas
That 555 has paid for itself atleast ten times over. To buy a 304 like that wild be 30,000. That 555 has cost me $6500. I don't think people understand how expensive equipment is.
@@CaptainKleeman Run what you have, I get it. It was a comment - maybe it helps my fellow FF.
Well, at least you didn't pull a big trailer 200 miles to find out the dump bed was sold out from under you. Appears to me that keeping one's word isn't as important to some people as it is to me. Think the pool idea looks like another neat project to follow, thanks for the video, take care.
Yeah that's very true, that would have been a different conversation lol
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
💪
MIKE, reading some of the comments, ...lots of shoulda woulda could've! Thing is YOUR plan, is what the Admiral wants, so build it, I'll watch. Good stuff!
Carry on Capt'n!
Lol, right on! Appreciate ya watching
Mike Having your stabilizer lowered 1 -2ft above the ground on the lower side when on a steep side hill will give you added safety when moving. Also fill your rear bucket when having trouble moving.....love your visions
Until it snags a tree I didn't see and spins me on a steep hill. Lol. Appreciate ya watching
You always have something interesting to watch.
Thank you!

I appreciate that!
Cap’n it’s gonna be gorgeous. That spot was sitting there just begging for someone to come along and make it be special. I love it!
Let me know it you want some help on those porthole windows…
Sorry I haven't got back to you yet. It's been hectic! But I definitely haven't forgot about it
@@CaptainKleeman OK…. I assumed as much. Just holler when you are ready.
Progress by stages leads to success in the process and goals met over time.
Absolutely!
Have you got water in the tires or would a bucket full in the backhoe bucket put more weigh over the tires?
Excellent blue color on the dump truck. I hate it when sellers yank the rug out from under you for no reason. Super frustrating.
Definitely annoying, but it is what it is. Appreciate ya watching!
Plunge pool is going to be relaxing. Lots of work to get it done, but worth every minute. Plenty of stone to build pool.
Absolutely, we enjoy the other pond several times a week, with this new addition, we will have a whole new way to relax. Pretty excited! And thanks for the comment!
A set of chains on the backhoe would improve your life big time, great vid as usual
BTW I know you've said you know about chains lol, keep your eyes open for a cheap set, I was lucky to get a set, it was a game changer
Cap you have great Ideas Love that Project . too .
You are definitely a good multitasker Mike!!! What you have achieved this segment is really good, considering the conditions you are working in. Now you have sketched out your plan in the dirt, we can "see" your vision of what you plan easier, thanks. As always best wishes from UK.
Thanks for leaving a comment!
Can you put a quick connect on your backhoe
On the back of it
Hey Cap!! Was going to recommend a pond liner but you beat me to it. Sorry about the dump bed. Keep up the great work 👍 👏
Thanks!
I love it great idea
Thanks!
It's a damn shame what this world has become......a man's word used to be one of the most valuable things he could have.....😒
Not anymore. It's a shame
Hello Mike. I remember the limestone trip and knew you had a plan for it. It seems to be getting closer. When you find another bed for the truck, I hope you will just stop everything and go get it. I wonder if the first two were sabotaged. Have good days!
Well my boss wouldn't be too happy with that lol. Appreciate ya watching!
I’ve had the same thing happen with marketplace, when I have things listed and have several people interested I say that it’s been spoken for but if it falls through I will let you know. A little more work but I think it’s appreciated by prospective buyers.
Definitely. Wish more did the same!
Captain Kleeman, it seems thats the normal thing with those interwebby sale places . Back in the day you could take some bodys word like money . Not anymore .😮😢
It's a bummer for sure. Appreciate ya commenting!
Skid chains for the 555.
Maybe one day, would definitely come in handy

Its looking great Captain! Sorry to hear about that dump bed, ppl like that is why its hard to trust anyone. But sure hope you find the bed you need
