I picked up an 04 accord 2.4, a few years back: same leak. First changed rocker cover gasket, as soon as I got it. Then changed that vtec duhicky gasket that your speaking of, about eighteen months ago. On a drive up to wv, I had enough oil pressure to push oil past the oil pan gasket; so I changed that-what a bear! Then the power steering pump was leaking in the area; where the hose meets the pipe. Now I'm looking at it again! Is it coming from the area around the crank sensor or the dang crank seal. Dios mia!! Lol

Rocket cover gasket ?

valve cover: the rockers are connected to the overhead cam. Really only the very tip of the valve protrudes from the head to be covered; all the rockers are there. On pushrod engines, the camshaft won't be there; so it's safe to say that the cover, in all cases covers to rockers, imo.

Hey! It's the vtec solenoid gasket. My dad also has this leak in his 03 Accord EX. I'm gonna help him replace it tomorrow

really wondering how to deal with stripped bolts and also what do i do about solenoid a, b,c,e,d i need to find them are they on the bottom of the transmission with a cover

I got the valve replaced, the sender, steering hose, crankshaft, pcv valve replace, o-hose and it’s still leaking oil any idea what it could be?

Now I replaced that gasket and the top one too ( I don’t know the name ) but still leaking in the passenger side right by the serpentine belt , not the side , but the back of the engine what it could be ? I have been looking for it and the only part from the top that is full of oil is the exhaust manifold .

Mmmm bottom of manifold there is nothing that could leak oil, only this could leak oil there could be a head gasket.
You have this components that carry oil seals or gaskets in back of engine.
Vale cover gasket
Then spool valve on spool valve you have pressure switch that could leak oil, oil pressure valve solenoid. Under that head gasket
Under that is the oil pressure sensor,
And under that oil pan gasket.

Where is this located?

That's the vtec solenoid. Located upper left of the engine. Mounted on to the head right below to the valve cover. U can't miss it.

It's right above the oil filter. The vtec solenoid gasket. I'm doing this for my dad's 03 accord along with the valve cover gasket. Should fix the leak
