Thanks! Indeed, at Boeing Field there's the added benefit of pretty frequent 777X test flights at the moment. I'm hoping to head up there sometime in the future for that reason.
Recently flew on an Alaska Airlines 737-9 and one of the most comfortable flights I’ve been on. I love how they have theirs configured. I flew on a United 737-9 and was cramped like hell since I’m 6’4. Definitely a good airline to fly.
Lots of specials today it sounds like. I saw on FlightRadar a 767 from Paine (BOE651) and not long ago I saw a Delta Airlines 752 (N666DN) from Orlando.
Yep, very much so. Amazing how PDX can sometimes go weeks without much out of the ordinary happening, then suddenly there's 3 or more specials in one day.
@@logansaviationadventures They're definitely a hell of a lot quieter. Depending on the amount of background noise there is near you, you might not even hear one passing over.
Agreed, though at the moment the fact that people died to make it safe leaves me with a bit of a bitter taste. I'll need to be sweetened up to it before I can really say that I like it.
Seems as though they’re just putting time on it...maybe to prep for entry into service. It’s a very expensive way to practice, since Alaska owns their own Max simulator.
That very cool you got to see a MAX performing so many touch and gos! This is one of the reasons I'd love to go to Portland or Boeing Field.

No touch & goes at Boeing Field....you need to go to Grant County INT. in Moses Lake.
Thank you!
Very beautiful! That Alaska Air livery is also really one of a kind👍🏻😍
Thank you!

Great to see the Boeing 737 MAX back up in the skies! Nice video!
Indeed! Thanks!
I saw that one going round and round today, everything must have worked ok

@@PortlandAviation how loud are those maxes compared to the ng there supposed to be like way quieter but I’ve never heard one before

@@PortlandAviation gotta say I’m gonna miss the classic buzz from the ng but good for Boeing new innovation is always good

@@PortlandAviation Well yeah, same here. I’d give it at least two or three years before I’d fly on it. I still like the MAX. 👍
Interesting. Thanks for posting.
Glad you enjoyed!
amazing video :)
Thanks!
I saw this plane I was watching it takeoff and land on the 7th floor of the Short Term
Nice!
rare moment....
I’m curious, what’s the reason for touch and go? Are they testing the landing and takeoffs?
Probably yeah, as well as training purposes.

My home airport is Pdx
Cool!
Did you get the dreamliner that came in in the morning?
I'm not aware of any Dreamliner that came in, but there was an unpainted 767 for FedEx. I narrowly missed it, unfortunately.
@@PortlandAviation Ah, maybe that was it. It was primer green, I assumed it was a 787
@@GregsWorkshopOregon The 787s are always white for some reason, not sure why.
@@PortlandAviation due to the composite build...no need to coat them with the green stuff.
Nice!
Thank you!
is it just one so far?
As far as I know
How the--do you get to the terminal HE'S NOT STOPPING!! My friends are waiting--you don't have any friends thank GOD for that !
