Thanks :) Done it with heaps of celery because didn't have cilantro, easy and delicious ! I used to make sort of curries with mung beans, that's a great alternative :)
like the way you did it but Cilantro which is Coriander here is a very strong taste and may dominate a bit so I'm gonna use something else as its so adaptable Thanks 👍😊
Hi. I've just made these and am about to fry them. There are a lot of them. I'm thinking of freezing some before I fry them and then defrosting them to fry another time. Would that work or would it be better to fry them from frozen?? Thank you for any help.
Thanks for all good receipe . Could you please share us some healthy foods such as different salad more than what you shared or the other more healthy or better to.say diet one :-) thanks for being with us
i think too much potatoes masks salt flavor ... add indian arrowroot flour as binder and add flavor spices on top as garnish or some sauce or both which is how we indians do when a veggie is masking flavor
I've never made this particular veg patty before but have made many others. It usually takes only a minute or two on each side. Since everything in the patty is cooked, the goal is simply to brown the sides to your liking.
I was so excited and made it for dinner. Epic FAIL! Everything went well until the frying part at end. Patties soaked the oil and lost their shape and became very gloopy. I think we should add a binding agent like eggs!
You got to heat the oil. Make sure you use, high temperature oil, like avocado oil, heat it up, then drop the patties. Do not use your hands. Use a spatula to drop it. This video is made to demonstrate something, not actual frying. Putting these into cold oil, like the video shows, the patties will suck up the oil.
Just made them. Fried them up in coconut oil, also added fresh mushroom. Pretty good.
This looks absolutely nutritious and well prepared.Great job

For about that size of a patty, how long did you - or others here?- fry it (each side)?

can you freeze the pre-fried patties for a while?
Grace Dougherty yes...would make it easier to fry
No audio, too tiny fonts so left it half way..
what can I use instead of cilantro? My family thinks it tastes like soap.
Jill S I prefer flat-leaf Italian parsley over cilantro.
Mung beans!?!? Never heard of of seen it! With which other, more common, beans can I do these receipt and use instead of mung beans? Thank you
hello, how much yield does this produce?
I am planning to make it for a cooking demo.
You only cooked the mung beans for 15 mins?
well she soaked them first so i imagine that is correct
I added 20 more minutes
That's quite a bit of oil there ma'am.
only frying part big failed next time I will use egg for binding
Ashfaque Khan you could also use ground flaxseed or soaked chia seed as a binder. Oatmeal, wheat or chickpea flour too.

u can bake them in oven instead, brush with little oil before u put them on tray. much safer than frying
Exotic Being any patties you ever make, chilli it in the fridge and than shape and fry or bake

It's supposed to be a vegan recipe so this video is not for you.
Hunter Love or chia egg foe vegans. 1 tb ground chia x 3 tbs water, mix and add. 🌱🙏
Frying them in bacon lard would really kick this recipe up a notch.
