- This 70's performance of Ron Romm is where it all started -- he revived this work after Rafael Mendez made it famous in America during the 50's!
I still cannot believe I had the pleasure of playing this piece with Ronnald!!!! Dream come true!!!
you played with Ronald?
20 seconds in and already by far this is the best version on the first page of search results so far!!
oh my, yes, very extremely excellent.
perfectly embodies the nature of the piece.
#10outof10
I can only imagine how absolutely gorgeous this sounded live
Justin Wells Arturo Sandoval ' s version is the only superior version. he plays with more original Mexican style.

Trumpt and solo trombone
yes
Ronald Romm!
Very underrated! Fantastic player.
I could listen to it a million times ... absolutely lovely. Thanks Guys!
No one knows what truly happens behind that beard... some say he has two tongues...
just two?
The ladies like that...
....this played as Don entered the pearly gates....
Ronald Romm Forever!
Oh man I love their sound. I personally feel like there is a difference in this sound compared to many modern groups. To me, the modern groups sound more refined and round, but these guys aren't afraid to get crass!! Sounds way more exciting to me.
So neat sound...i remember my late husband playing his trumpet..
Absolutely phenomenal
You really remind me of the Semana Santa processions in Granada. Fabulous music..
These guys are so super flawless
J adore ,vraiment tres belle interpretation
Bravo 👏
Brilliant rendition :)
Chevy Chase on Tuba killed it
me encanta
Grandioso...
THIS IS CALLED "CULTURE"!
Very pleasant to the ear ienjoy it rey much
Boa música, sem dúvida.
Don Rickles should be walking on stage
chuck is so young
magnific
Muito bonito.
Me recuerda a la fiesta brava.......
Excellent playing and very nice beard
Say Heah, Bravo. ,, .
YES!!!! He is using a Schilke Trumpet!!!!!
How do u know
@@matjajx6911 Lots of styling cues give it away. 2nd valve slide, hex finger buttons and valve caps, lack of brace at tuning slide... even if you knew nothing about their preference for instruments prior to the Yamaha endorsement. ;)
woooow
how do you practice to play this song on trumpet? Anyone's advice would be much appreciated.
Jay Ibidapo lots and lots of slow practice ,practice at half tempo then work your way up to speed, it's mostly improv, the original written music is actually different ,the runs are 32 and 64th note runs and hard to do that's why I recommend getting it down slowly and work on speed once you know it, I've played it many times and it takes a lot of practicing, good luck and have fun
Bravo
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
do hear that sound before the note its in every song before the canadian brass start a song
It’s been six years... when will you wake up?
@@sunhatgrooves3868 idk
Excellent
Helal :)
UUUUUUUuuuuu burada Türkleri görmek harika :)
Its written by the Spanish composer Bernardino Bautista Monterde (1880-1959).
But where are the 1/7 3/7 4/7 ecc...part?
Fajny duet ....
So... when is Don walking out?
Is that a B flat tuba
why can you hear it being played somewhere else right before you hear them play?
Please yo see the RAFAEL MÉNDEZ Trumpet....
Que clase de sonidaso
How long had the Canadian Brass been together before this?
Since I graduated, actually earlier, in 1981!
La STORIA dei gruppi di Ottoni BRAVISSIMI
I see these younger players you UA-cam. They've got all he talent in the world and are doing great work but, I have to say, they are missing something this guy has. They just are.
🇪🇸👍
does anyone know what the 2 trumpets play right before the actual piece?
It's a traditional bullfight fanfare. La Virgen de la Macarena is also known as The Bullfighter's Song.
Até se arrepia o pelo joder!
Very fine playing. I believe he grew the beard to hide the embrochure from students ...:) BTW has anyone noticed how SLIM they all are? Blows out of the water any idea that you must be built like a barrel to play a brass instrument.
Schilke trumpets!
Uncle Phil!

Hahahaha..
i knew this a while back before the commercial
no one's gonna comment on how the thumbnail looks like uncle phil from fresh prince???
1 year later and this is still the case.
Where's the triple tonging though? I know these cats can triple tongue like madmen.
No. Le falta fuerza y potencia!!!
