- Christmas Tree Photography Tutorial part II. After we found the perfect settings for Christmas Tree images in the first video, I am going to add a fill light using a Speedlite or even regular room lights.

What if your tree lights are multicolored ?
weird, I answered that one an hour ago, but the reply got lost.
However, what I'd do is take a white piece of paper and make a custom white balance on that (only with the tree light).
Once you've done that, add the flash (or room lights) and take a test shot. If the paper is yellow, you need to use a blue filter. If the paper is blue, you need to add a yellow filter.
