It's been 1 month since this grass has been cut. In the South East, that's like an eternity! I filmed this job in my OG Vlog style from back in the day and mowed this tall thick lawn with just some basic lawn service equipment. A quick $50 sidehustle? Sure! Why Not!!??

Retired greenskeeper here. Glad to see you back mowing lawns. Enjoy watching your techniques as you remind me of myself. When I saw that you had removed the guard on your weed eater I knew you knew how to weed eat. Especially enjoyed your old video where you talked about making money solo with just a walk behind mower.....K.I.S.S. has been my motto for many years. Been retired since Jan 1 and am probably going to do the solo thing myself with a goal of 10 lawns next season.... Got to have a reason to get out of bed. Keep the videos coming.

Just looking at that ditch made my hammy seize up. You've accomplished a great feat by trimming that. The only harder task I can think of is finishing back to back years of BUDS training and finishing top in the class...both years. Keep it up!

Hey, Dan, I'm a month into your channel. Love your content, the difference between yours and other landscapers channels is, you go into details needed for actual detailed advancement in people's careers, in some of the videos, like the edging one, that's what really sold me on the channel. Anyways, thanks for the channel and depth into the why's and ways of doing this stuff for 30 odd years. Look forward to more. And again thank you for the edging video, you really sold me on spending the extra time in my clients property, and that extra time really pays off when you see your properties are the best looking just for something so over looked, especially in the garden beds. Their yards really do pop out more than the others.

Snapper mower with the Ninja blade, one of the best going. That's about all I use in my mowing work. These mowers are built like a tank!

I just saved a 1994 snapper by replacing discontinued choke carb for a more modern primer one and made it work. It was the from the same

I agree! Even back in the 80s and 90s if you can get your hands on a snapper mower like what I was using in this video, you are using the cream of the crop as far as small area walk behind mowers are concerned

I appreciate you thinking about me like that but believe me when I tell you, my UA-cam channel subscribers like yourself and many others help get me through my day. I still enjoy servicing lawn service accounts I just cannot do it for a living anymore. I intend to mow yards here and there on the weekends including my own. That generator really is a nice piece of equipment. I was very impressed and I feel much more comfortable knowing I have that in the shed to help keep my family comfortable during power outages

I might’ve been able to go a little lower but keep in mind my transmission is a little sketchy and I didn’t want to get in a position where things went South on me. Especially knowing my strong point is the Weedeater… Lol… Who needs a lawnmower anyways!

That Honda mower is a great mower but I no longer needed it when I got the 36 inch Hydro walk-behind. I sold it while it still had very high value to it knowing that I still had this snapper

@@DansVlog I will tell Santa 🎅 you want a ZTX 42!!. I own a 48 Dixie Choppper now. My next one will be a Gravely 42. Small riders are the way to go. Btw....I have an echo push string trimmer...because I refuse to take Dixie into unknown regions. I have the push string trimmer so I don't tear up my rider. I've learned rhings from Dan the mower man.

I said...I will take it down with the Bearcat, it's easy to fix and transport but Dixie don't go nowhere in high grass...then I use Dixie to mulch. Dixie was $1500 more than a Gravely but she's wayyy cuter with all the stainless steel. Dixies are not popular but she's my 3rd one. Never had a breakdown EVER in 25 years and I have a factory sun shade 😎 ⛱. I have an aux battery with a fan too. I mow in style just like you and your dream Jeep!!!
