so did you just rotate the rear hub for lift & didn't need to buy anything for the rear? and for the front would a 2.5" coil spacer do the same affect? cheers great vid mate
@dgadeken I broke the right front on the first ride after lifting it but don't let that scare you I would have broken it lifted or not... It was in a tough spot and the buddies had a lot coaxing into that broken axle and I still had to be pulled out Not a good day for the Yamaha or its rider...
@TheHondakid98 I made a 5 inch lift on my grizzly from steel, my dad owns a mechnic shop and he can cut those metals with a, i forgot what its called i think magma cutter or something like that ya it sits up WAY higher sounds cool I would like to see it...
Hey ive been wanting to set my shocks tighter. I was wondering how you turned the adjuster on the shock. Ive been told to use vice grips but i cant get a good enough grip on it.
@newf30 when you flip the rear hub your rim rubs the upper arm when your tire is all the way extened down No I didn't have any thing rub or touch after completing but I have aftermarket rims. I have not measured against factory rims to see if there is any difference has yours rubbed?
mudboggin178 Anything can be lifted question is how much do you want to pay for it? I have a 250 with springs that could be lifted and I always thought buy why now you got me thinking why not. I'm thinking a 24" lift just for fun gonna be a while before I get started on this though I have several projects left on the Can-Am and the Grizzly, I just need some warm weather
Step by step instructions, telling someone hoy you did it is not same showing people what you did. Just saying. But good video on someone who knows a little bit about mechanics.
I kinda run with the thought process if you can’t understand what I’m telling you it’s probably not safe for you to attempt it. I do appreciate your feedback though something to definitely keep in mind
@Coolkid0312 How much did that kit cost lookin for one on my Honda fourtrax it was only $89.00 my buddy at Little Lloyds ATV can hook you up... 903-584-9131
Yes it does but it's a very small amount so there is no need to adjust the camber unless you are doing a lot of street riding,

McKay Martin I used vice grips and used channel locks to lock them then used a pipe to gain leverage while turning

Just wondering ive heard alot of people say you take bad risk of breaking axles when you flip your rear hubs have you had any problem since?
when you flip the rear hub your rim rubs the upper arm when your tire is all the way extened down
I just use a large pair of channel locks to adjust my shock

Do you need to compress the spring/shock to do this or is it just a bolt and go?
No it's a simple bolt on bracket very easy to install
So how much height did you gain out of lifting it? I know it says 2" lift, but what figures did you end up with cheers :)
@varmithunting11 it was $89.00 at highlifter
